Free Dinner

Published by in Random on September 29th, 2006

Two days ago, i was given free dinner courtesy of Lingster’s bro. He was so generous because i so happened recommended him for a job and he was hired. Whether he will remain there for a long time is a different question all together but the main point is that he got his first ‘fatty’ pay cheque and he is giving me a treat. Instead of him bringing me, Lingster was asked to do so. She gave me a few places that we could go and i just had to choose Manhattan Fish Market. I suddenly had cravings for the Manhattan Flaming Prawns – 8 succulent prawns with cheese covering it and served with either rice or fries. Before serving, the prawns are ‘flamed’ so the cheese would melt on top of the prawns and all this is done in front of you. So we dashed to Midvalley with only objective, to have dinner and that’s all. No shopping. Yeah something that’s hard to believe especially when you are with one/a few girls. Lingster kept saying, “No no i am just gonna window shop and go back”. She ended up trying here and there. This made me recall the diagram

The other half

Published by in Random on September 25th, 2006

As i went thru Jiin’s and Charng’s blogs i realised both of them have their new entries about their partners. Jiin said she’s diabetic after writing her entry and even warned that those who reads it will be diabetic as well. Charng on the other hand, wrote an entry about how she needs to regain her memory strength forgot her password and Kevin came to the rescue. I haven’t actually said much about my partner. I mean besides my MMU friends, others kept bugging me on this matter. Maybe by simply going through the blog, you can see it’s a bit obvious but the thing is i never directly claimed nor wrote an entry about her. Today i will share some super short stories on her, just to let you get a brief idea who she is. Last weekend, I called her up. Simply asking what was she doing, yada yada, those routine questions. She replied, saying that she was getting a loan and will be paying 200 bucks monthly for …. and the line went fuzzy. I didn’t really catch what she was saying as the background sound on her side wasn’t helping much either. I said, ” Ahhhhhhh

My last lecture class of the semester

Published by in Random on September 25th, 2006

Woke up at 7 today for classes. My last 2 classes for the semester is today, so i thought i might as well go for the earliest class and get done with it. The class starts at 8 and ends at 10. When i got there, i saw so many students waiting outside of the lecture halls. I was confused and i checked my watch. It was already 8.05am and why the hell are they all waiting outside ? I stepped up like some big hero and tried to open the door……. The stupid door didn’t open and i looked like a pathetic fool =_=” Thank God there were only like 5 students *shy shy* The lecturer told me, the security couldn’t get the door open since 7.50am. The only lecture hall opened is the one in the picture above but it didn’t have the whiteboard my lecturer needed. So we all played the ‘waiting game’. There were suppose to be 2 classes running at the same time and both halls were locked. By 8.15am, the security guards decided to go through the back way and force the doors to open from inside out. As we waited, their main security

Happy 21st Birthday

Published by in Random on September 24th, 2006

Exactly a week ago, the person in the picture below celebrated her 21st Bday. I was invited and so was Lingster. A week before her birthday party she asked me if i knew any good place around KL to shop for clothes and i said no but i could ask Lingster. I asked Lingster the whereabouts of the places she went last time and everything was either near One Utama or Hartamas. Not knowing that place well, i decided to bring Lingster along since she knows how to get there. To tell you the truth, i was practically threaten by Lingster, to actually let her follow as she too wanted to shop =_=” Hehehe just if you haven’t known, the girl in the pic below is actually my sis and well i was suppose to bring her around with my parents to shop. Thank God for Lingster, we were able to get there with ease. My parents drove my sis all the way from Penang just to shop, now tell me why is that even fair ? Just because she’s the only girl in my family doesn’t mean she can just demand things like that. Actually i don’t really care,

More on Really 3G

Published by in Random on September 22nd, 2006

Lingster gave me more photos last night and here’s a few on us. While waiting for the clues to come in, TV3 interviewed us on what were our strategies and why were we all sitting in the departmental store when everyone was outside waiting under the hot sun. Quite duhhh right, we just playing smart and we played for the fun of it. Some of the other contestants did take a notch higher by walking under the sun from start to finish, unlike us Again, don’t ask me why is my hand in a position that’s so akward. It must be the wind blowing from the front and my hand just bent in such a way to be more aerodynamic, ahahahaha. We were walking towards the taxi stand in front of KLCC. Here we are waiting in front of the taxi stand. Why are we waiting ? Cause the clues haven’t been messaged to us and at this point, the team that actually got first place was already on the move. We only got ours 5 minutes later. Now how miserable is that. This is the part where we just finished and decided to catch our breathe in front of

Really 3G

Published by in Random on September 21st, 2006

Celcom teamed up with Nokia and came out with this Really 3G campaign in my uni last week. They had a few promotions and competitions to encourage the usage of 3G. For the whole week they were giving out phones to those winners of the day. The prize ranges from 6680 to the n90, yeap n90 – the phone that is so big that, you could kill a dog with it. The final day of the campaign which was last Saturday, they had a Location Based Service competition. In lay man’s term, a treasure hunt solely based on the map shown on your phone. Khek, Lingster and I teamed up and the first prize was 3 units of 6680. Itu dia, the 3 muskeeteers all geared up to play. Please don’t ask why i look so retarded, it’s just the sun Unfortunately for us, the bus that was suppose to ferry us to KLCC didn’t make it. The driver overslept and refused to pick up his phone. So the organizers gave each team 50 bucks and we had to make our way to KLCC in 2 1/2 hours. FIFTY freaking bucks man. We didn’t bother catching the bus, instead we

Sue Anne’s 22nd Birthday, hostage style

Published by in Random on September 15th, 2006

Putrajaya: A girl from the Multimedia University was abducted right at her doorstep of her hostel room. Sources said that, the girl was forced to be blindfolded before being hustled into a silver Kembara. The kidnappers then drove her to a secluded place in Alamanda where they emberassed her by making her walk from one end of the shopping complex to the other end, blindfolded. People quickly made way for the kidnappers as they didn’t want to be part of it. The victim who wants to be only known as Miss Sue Anne was then freed upon reaching Secret Recipe where she ended up celebrating her 22nd birthday with her friends and also the kidnappers. Sue Anne can’t stop grinning after what she has gone thru. “Should I take this cake and put on ChiawYin after what she has done to me today ? “ Finally she cuts the cake We also had our dinner in Secret Recipe and someone decided to order pumpkin soup. Check out what was written on the soup. Everyone said that the fella who prepared this soup decided to write his name on it. Whenever there was a waiter nearby, we would check his name

Ing Keat’s Birthday Party @ Maisons

Published by in Random on September 13th, 2006

Last week, i was invited for Ing Keat’s birthday. Just for you to know, he is Lingster’s brother. He won a competition thru 8TV and they threw him a birthday party at the Maisons. It was inconjuction with the launch of Beyonce’s new album, B’day. I had no idea what is the Maisons nor where is it. I just tagged along. Upon reaching, we were greeted by the people in charge and were ushered to our table. Then we were introduced to our very own waiter or a better way to say, an assistant. He was an old chap and i felt bad enough when he pulled our chairs for us to sit. As everyone was busy looking on other party goers hitting the dance floor, i decided to drop by at the loo and boy was i surprised. Each urinary bowl had a display unit above it and it was really something that caught my attention. Normally guys would be busy ‘hitting’ the toads that has the sign “HIT ME” in the urinary bowl but guys here will be forced to watch whatever was shown. It wasn’t easy at first, i kept looking down, finding for that stupid toad
