It has been a while since i have gone back to my alma mater and last week i went back to collect my SPM certificate. There hasn’t been any major changes to the school ever since i left in 2001 but one thing i noticed was the wardens are now in black shoes. Back when i was a warden, we weren’t allowed to wear black shoes but it didn’t bother me anyway.

I headed over to the administration office and told what i needed. The lady then told me to hang on as it will take sometime for her to dig the records. After 10 minutes or so, she appeared with a long log book which was dusty as hell. She asked me to find for my name. As i was going through the names, i could see all my friends who have collected and those who haven’t. It was fun seeing their names again.

I realized the list was divided by our classes, so i skipped a whole lot of pages before reaching mine. I browsed through and there it was … my name So i followed the column to the right, just to find out that mine has been SIGNED !

It even had the date of me taking the cert, which was April 2003. I was so embarrassed. The lady laughed at me and told me to go back and search properly.
