Christmas outing with Lingster

Posted on December 24, 2006 - Filed Under personal

I waited for 2 whole weeks before i could see Lingster again and it was a torturous 2 weeks. It hasn’t been easy for me as the only mode of communication i had with her was my phone. I can’t count in messengers nor emails because it wouldn’t be nice to disturb her while working.

I met CharngYee from Cyber. First i wasn’t sure if it was her till i sms-ed her. We had some serious talk about …. about what actually ? …. Life. It’s nice to hear from a different person’s point of view and Charng did teach me a thing or two on how to handle certain situations. Talking to her, really lifted a looootttt of weight off my shoulder. Thanks for all those advice, Charng.

I stopped over at Subang Jaya station and walked to Taylor’s because Lingster said she would be there. I met her at the main entrance and we had some refreshment. Lingster’s mum was also there and we were talking about Lingster’s brother when Lingster got choked and vomited her tea all over me -_-” I had tea on my face and on my favourite shirt. Trying to ‘jaga muka’, i simply smiled at the table beside ours as they kept staring at me. The damage on my shirt wasn’t that bad but the guy next to our table tried to poke fire by saying, luckily everything didn’t get on you, if not you gone LAH. I told him, if that ever happened, then she would just have to get me a new shirt and i walked off. Some people should just mind their own business.

We took KTM to midvalley and shopped till she dropped. I had to be exempted because ’someone’ still owes me a whole sum of money, ahem ahem. Hahaha. So i postponed my shop till i drop session to next week. While shopping i spotted someone familiar and i asked Lingster, isn’t that Marshen ? Without even answering me, she ran and jumped on to her -_-” They started screaming at each other … Oh ya, then i was also introduced to another ex-schoolmate of hers, Chris. I would have to wait till beginning of next year to meet my ex-schoolmates.

For the past few days i haven’t been eating regularly, in fact i only ate once and survived on water, milo and milk. Lingster decided to eat at Sushi King and so we went.

I have never failed to order California Temaki ever since Lingster introduced me to Genki Sushi and Sushi King. I was quite disappointed with the green tea. It wasn’t as hot as i expected and i manage to gulp it down in one go.

I learned a new thing yesterday. I didn’t know you could return the food if it doesn’t look nice to you. Hahaha, well that’s what Lingster did and she asked me to shut up while she was doing Operation Return Sushi.

This was the first time that i have eaten fish head. I was recommended Salmon fish head and knowing that Lingster is a fish lover, i ordered that instead of eating baby octopus. I have to say, it wasn’t as bad as i have expected. In fact, it was delicious.

One thing i had about sushi is …. WASABI. I never liked it and never will. If ever there’s wasabi in my mouth, i will give the most ridiculous facial expression because i just can’t stand the taste of it.
Since the Santa Claus was still busy getting ready at the backstage, we decided to snap our photo in front of the christmas tree. That pretty well sums up what i have done for this weekend.

To suffer for 96 hours and end it in this manner was simply the best feeling ever.

Merry Christmas everybody ;)

” I am definitely looking beyond 6 months with the way things are going. All i need is hardwork and definitely luck along the way “
