Batman to be on a 2 wheeler in his upcoming movie

I can still remember in one of those Batman movies where his car manages to re-shape and turns out slimmer than usual to get through an alley. I was awed. I assumed only Transformers were able to transform into something different and not Batman’s gadgets.
Well it seems now he doesn’t have to do that. Instead he will be doing all his maneuvering in tight spots using a 2 wheeler. Don’t ask me when and why would he need it when he has a bloody-tank-looking-car. Probably the director realized the car wasn’t practical in some of the upcoming tight shots. Unless he was to direct Christian Bale to destroy everything he drives into.
Even the 2 wheeler looks ‘chunky’ but it’s still refreshing. Wouldn’t want to see him on a Kawasaki ninja anyway.

This is the tank-looking car of his that i mentioned earlier. It does look sophisticated but somehow i have lost touch with his current gadgets compared to the old Batman’s.

My all time favourite Batmobile. I even had a picture of me with a replica when there was some roadshow for Batman in Penang back in 1992. The photo cost me 15 bucks ! -_-”

Anyway did you all know Heath Ledger would be the upcoming Joker ? Really wonder how he will turn out when the movie is shown next year. Jack Nicholson being the Joker was a classic, imho. I would use my Lasy to replicate his elongated pistol, which in the movie, manage to bring down Batman’s super cool plane which looked like Batman’s logo. Ahhhh everything about that first movie was just fantastic. Mind you, it was back in 1989 when the first Batman was released. Tim Burton did a terrific job in directing the first 2 Batmans.
The Dark Knight would be released in more than a years time. For the time being, i am waiting for … TRANSFORMERS !

IMO the BatPod (thats what it’s being called) is absolutely fantastic. The direction the designers have taken are again similar to that which they took with the Bat-Mobile in Batman Begins -i.e. buffing up the look and feel from what the original Bat-Bike used to look like!
As for Heath Ledger, well I won’t rush to judge anything yet! Though possible no one can trump old Jack Nicholson as Joker … I distinctly remember everyone claiming that Micheal Keaton was the best Batman ever - UNTIL Christian Bale beat him soundly in Batman Begins!
yeah it’s definitely better than Bat-bike. but i just felt the car was overdone.
totally agree with you on christian bale. the other 2 batmans were no where close to keaton.
hahaha yeap, i am just curious on how is he gonna fit the role. i did enjoy the batman begins and after knowing they are bringing back joker, i was even more ecstatic
Maybe they reused the tires from that tank. Damn similar. Haha. Look like f1 tyre also. Anyway, I think practically it’s damn hard to manouvre with such supersized wheels. I’d recommend him to use one of our Mat Rempit motors. More agile.
I remember Tim Burton from kiddy flicks like Edward Scissorhands, and Corpse Bride.
David: Yeah i think they want to have a similar theme going on with his vehicles
Hahaha the old batman did use a motorbike but it had that side passenger carrier for Robin -_-”
I too remembered Edward Scissorshand when small
