KLPAC - Comedy Court
Posted on October 9, 2007 - Filed Under entertainment

When Comedy Court came to Putrajaya, not many of my friends managed to attend. So this time around, i dragged along Bernard, Weng Chong, their coursemate Wendy and Lingster. The venue was KL Pac and we had no idea how to get there. Luckily for the landmarks and precise directions given by the person who answered our call, we reached there in one piece
We actually left quite early, fearing that with the time wasted finding for the place, we would reach there just in time. But instead we had more than forty five minutes to spare. So we explored this building and site which was beautifully maintained by YTL.

Lingster joined us straight from work

Bernard volunteered to drive all of us there.

We had our dinner at SS15 before proceeding to KLPAC. At first we thought of eating at KLPAC itself but we assumed it’s gonna cost a bomb. Surprisingly, the price was quite reasonable, especially for the sushi and other japanese food.
After a while, we noticed a lady guiding a blind man towards the piano and the next thing we knew, he was playing numerous melodious tunes. Great way to break the silence in that building

Lingster listening attentively to the pianist. Just after i snapped this picture, other attendees gathered round the piano as he played. Bernard got restless and dashed to the first floor where the entrance was and there we found the organizers had decorated the place with newspaper clippings and posters of their past shows. It was quite interesting cause they made it look like a walk through memory lane.

The organizers spotted us and asked us to write a couple of question that we like Indi and Allan to answer if they ever pick our questions. We sat down, goofed around for a while and finally came out with five ridiculous questions which unfortunately never made it to their hands
There was still time and so we left the building.

We walked around and somehow reached the Sentul Park Koi Centre. I am not sure why Bernard and Weng Chong gave this sudden pose, hehehe.
They gave me the impression that ….

Weng Chong was in some club, pointing at the disco ball … -_-”

… and Bernard welcoming us to Thailand - Sawadee kap
Earlier on, while buying our tickets, we realized there’s an area where the chairs and tables were made out of wire mash. Ok maybe not wire mash but metal rod that looked like a mash. Since we had another fifteen minutes to spare, we headed to that place.

Don’t ask why i sat like that . I know i was tired on that day -_-”

Weng Chong showing how powerful his flash is

Finally we walked in after they had opened the doors to the auditorium. Though it was a weekday, the turnout was more than expected.
The show had new sketches and i can tell you, everyone in the hall enjoyed it. They did show flash backs of their previous sketches which was a bit too fast as i couldn’t catch joke until it was over. Neverthesless, their live performance is something you shouldn’t miss.

They had a short interval in the middle of the program and it lasted like fifteen minutes. The show ended around 10.45pm and all of us had to rush back. I had tonnes of work to be finished, so did Bernard, Weng Chong and Wendy. Lingster was even better, she has to be up very early for work ![]()
