OMFG, Kimi won !
Posted on October 22, 2007 - Filed Under f1

Formula one couldn’t have had a better final race than this. Though i am a fan of Kimi, i never had much hope of him winning the title before the race. In fact, i told Lingster that if Kimi wins the title than he would be luckier than Schuey who beat Hakkinen in one of the races where Hakkinen was leading for the whole race but only for his car to break down a few hundreds of meter before the finishing line … and i thought i would never see anyone that lucky again.
Kimi
To be honest, Kimi probably could stir things up but i doubt he would win. Unless he gets first place, Hamilton gets either a 7th or 8th finishing while Alonso finishes worst than third placing which is a bit too much to ask.
That was what i wrote 2 weeks back -_-” Kimi needed that exact sequence and that’s what he got. He finished in first place, Alonso in third and Hamilton in seventh.
1 Kimi Räikkönen Finnish Ferrari 110 2 Lewis Hamilton British McLaren-Mercedes 109 3 Fernando Alonso Spanish McLaren-Mercedes 109
Hamilton will definitely be the one to be watched out in the years to come. Whatever it is, Kimi is finally crowned the champion
Now i can sleep soundly

Man, your prediction is really spooky. Haha! Deja vu?
The championship could have been fixed. I wrote a long post on this.
WOOHOO to Ferrari!!
hooray!
the impossible has been made possible after all year long of prayers!
go KIMI !
what a race from the beginning…
credits to massa too!
fantastic team!
p/s what u guys think the upcoming scandal about those BMW fuel problem and disqualification?
It better not affect the result of the championship. The whole season is a joke with the spy scandal already. If Hamilton were to win due to the appeal (although the BMW and Williams were probably at fault), I have no respect left for McLaren.
YAY!!!! KIMI IS SO DAMN CUTE MAN!!!
But I heard they said Ferrari dunno did wat wrong and Lewis Hamilton will eventually become the World Champion. Is it true?
Hope it’s not true
@SaeWei
It wasn’t Ferrari having any fault but the BMW and Williams teams. They were found to be using “illegal” fuels. The fuels were 2-4 degrees colder than allowed. McLaren is appealing. The appeal is accepted. Now we just need to sit and wait.
ChanKelvin,
Ohhh… i see.. Hehehe..Thanks dude
Jason: that was the only way kimi could have won
yeah kinda spooky. i am pretty sure those who took a bet on him won big time
Kelwin: some how i too feel the same. though i was rooting for kimi but something was just wrong.
wow i didn’t know those stats affects the race outcome. i shall wait and see what’s the outcome. nevertheless, mclaren really blew their chances. what a waste.
and thanks for answering saewei’s Q
Gallivanter: yeahhhhhhhhhh ferrari …… !
des: i heard about the scandal over the radio and i was like wtf ? we shall see what the outcome will be in a few weeks time.
kelwin: couldn’t agree more with you on that matter
saewei: i am keeping my fingers crossed
Hahah… really ‘omfg’ dude… I couldn’t believe it… I’m very happpy he won, he deserved it since a few seasons ago. But so does Lewis and I really think something fishy had been happening behind the scenes. Oh well
yeah tell me about it. i was dead tired that night and when the race ended i was wide awake -_-” still couldn’t digest how the heck mclaren threw that away.
anyway like you said, he definitely deserved it whatever the outcome is
