Samurai Sudoku and Stardust

Sudoku
I was summoned by Lingster to accompany her to One Utama as she was taking part in MSIG’s Samurai Sudoku. If you didn’t know, Samurai Sudoku consist of 5 sudoku puzzles shaped like an ‘X’. When we arrived there, most of the participants were wearing their bandana which made the atmosphere all the better.

Sudoku
There were 2 catergories which are the NI and SAN. In those 2 categories there were different time slots for different people. Lingster was in the 2.30pm group and since we had time to spare, we went one floor lower to get the James Morrison tickets. We took out a hefty 183 ringgit each and the best part was we met Duncan later in the day where we were told that The Curve had a booth selling the tickets with 20% off -_-” $#%$^%&$^&$%&$

Sudoku
We rushed back to the venue after getting the tickets for a short briefing by Phat Fabes and Reena. Both of them were the emcees for the event. For the first round, contestants are only required to beat the opponent who is sitting in front of them. On top of that, only 10 minutes are giving for each session.

Sudoku
Lingster managed to submit hers before her opponent did but both of them never made it to the following round. So i asked her what happened ler ? It seems she couldn’t finish in time and just started filling in any numbers into the remaining boxes -_-” She was absolutely disappointed since the last competition she managed to walk away with first prize. To make her feel better, we went shopping. She went into shoe shops after shoe shops and never got a thing cause she was too busy analyzing where did she go wrong in the competition :P

Sudoku
We came across a Japanese Fair in the old wing and as we passed by, a noodle eating competition was going on. Many men were crowding the area to watch and i found out that two Japanese girls were serving the participants their noodles and at the same time cheering them in Japanese ! They looked so adorable :P They were sooo adorable that i myself forgot to snap some pictures of them -_-”

Sudoku
Next we adjourned to Genki Sushi for lunch/tea time.

Sudoku
I was too busy making my green tea that i didn’t bother to smile :)

We then rushed to watch Stardust which i will give two thumbs up. I had no idea what the movie was about and i watched it solely on Bernard’s recommendation. If you are planning to watch Beowulf, best if you invest that same money and time into Stardust. Seriously !

Before heading home, i had cravings for dessert and we dropped by at Bakerzin.

Sudoku
Strawberry New York Cheesecake

Sudoku
Strawberry tart

I am growing rounder by the minute -_-” Oh and i forgot to mention that i had laksa and ais kacang for breakfast. I have to start exercising vigorously again !

Normal Sudoku also I sure lose out because I can’t finish fast enough. Samurai style and I’d rather just harakiri.
