Nuffnang, Advertlets, GrabMyAds and Nufflets

Just when i thought the blog advertising war will only be between Nuffnang and Advertlets, GrabMyAds came along and today i found out there’s a fourth one, Nufflets.com. I know i am considered quite slow in getting the news but nevertheless, better late than never. If you have time to spare, hop over to ShadowFox’s entry on Nufflets. It was really interesting reading how Nuffnang and Advertlets actually built their own AD server engines and Nufflets on the other hand, got themselves a licensed one.

Having Nufflets join the blog advertising war makes the whole competition healthy. Just like football or F1, you wouldn’t want to see one or two teams dominating the field.

While exploring Nufflets.com, i found out that Nabil Feisal is the co-founder. Not that i know him personally but i remembered many moons back when i wrote a small complain on Advertlets, the person who replied my mail was Nabil Feisal himself :)

Now with a new player in the field, all i can say is welcome and this would be great for bloggers :)

P/S: After months of using both Nuffnang and Advertlets, i decided to drop Advertlets and stick with Nuffnang. Self preference :)

    While we welcome new players in the local blog advertising field, its going to take more effort to stand out among bloggers and advertisers. I guess I shall stick with Nuffnang still. :)

    besides that, advertlets does somehow slows down my blog compared to nuffnang. just like you i am too sticking to nuffnang :)

    Hey, FYI, Nufflets doesn’t accept personal website. They have just suspended my account and claimed that it’s stated in their publisher’s terms and conditions. Apparently it’s only for forums, discussion boards, and chat rooms! -.-

    ramzan: i am not sure about the rest but i dropped it because i had to choose between nuffnang and advertlets. otherwise, my blog loads slower -_-” so mine was self preference :)
