I wonder if anyone has tried barbequing in the rain ? We tried …. and it didn’t work 
But that’s not the point of this entry. After planning and getting accommodation for the KL people, everything was in order for the End Year BBQ Party at Golden Sands Beach Penang.
Some of us parked far away and had to walk for a good 5 minutes with things to carry, from chicken to tables, from charcoal to umbrellas (which came in quite handy later on).
Some of us did notice that it was already raining further down but to instill the spirit of optimism, we carried on unloading all the equipment to start the fire. Some went further by camwhoring on the beach
A human shield was formed to block the wind till we manage to get the fire started. Just as we started to unpack the chicken, it started pouring like bears and rabbits. The wind was also blowing violently which managed to wreck my umbrella which opened upwards -_-”
Everyone then gathered at a nearby shelter before heading over to the apartment but just to find out that it was already occupied. Long story short, we had no where to go and we had a bunch of hungry people. We finally ended up at JJ’s place which big enough to accommodate all of us.
Before that i joined some of the shouters at Tesco for some shopping.
I didn’t even know there’s a list for the things to be purchased.
“You think people will like the fat one or the long one ?”
As i said earlier, since it rained we changed venue and JJ was nice enough to provide a place for all of us to barbeque 
Of course we can’t BBQ under the roof, so we set the equipment on the road and blocked traffic.
This two kept feeding me with riddles that came with the lamest answers and most of the time i was forced to answer it -_-” JJ, Daniel and Joey too kept pumping in riddles after riddles. I swear to God, after that party my IQ dropped substantially. It was really fun seeing how people reacted when the answers were told.
What’s the difference if a person were to jump off a building from the 2nd floor and another person who jumps off the 10th floor ?
Anyone knows the answer ? Yes yes its a lame answer, so don’t think too hard
I have to say JJ was definitely a good host. He even fed us with loads of chicken wings but i was already stuffed before the chicken wings were ready. Had too much Char Bi Hun and Coke -_-”
The total amount of people attended were so big that it broke down to a few groups. This was one of it. All they did was play cards. Chor Tai Tee or Black Jack, you name it and i am pretty sure they have played it a couple of times Why never put in money ler this people ? -_-”
The Barbeque session wouldn’t have been completed without a cake. No ? Hahaha i myself was shocked when i was told that there’s a cake too. My eyes literally popped out when i saw that the logo of shoutout is even on the cake

I was told that i don’t include pictures of myself in my blog. Here’s the thing, i am always behind my own camera and i haven’t mastered taking my own pictures yet So for the time being i shall rely on pictures taken by others and in this case, SaeWei so happened had 3 pictures of me in it. Arigato
We had a chicken eating competition and there’s only one miserable participant. He eventually won the grand prize which was another piece of chicken.
JJ in shock that he was leading the chicken eating competition, hahaha. I am not sure what i was doing -_-” Candid shot.
Coke anyone ? Hehehe there wasn’t any chicken eating competition, it was all made up

Right after the group photo taken, i rushed back home because i had to catch my flight back to KL. If not i would have loved to stay back and take more pictures with everyone

I hate BBQ. Hot, takes long time, hot, troublesome, hot, get sore throat the next day, hot, not much varieties you can eat, hot, you have to BBQ for other people/girls and hot.

somehow or rather, the rain was even worst than the typical hot weathered bbqs. as for the food, i normally don’t eat much in bbqs like you said, there’s isn’t much to choose from. hahaha i did get sorethroat the next day -_-” so i assume you yourself must have bbq-ed a few times till you got fed up 
but bbqs are great place to meet up with new ppl and old peers too

not like his crazy dad. i look at the beach pics…i so jeles..the beach, the sea…great combination. doesnt matter if i know only you. i just stay on the fringe

so far home made steamboats i know do take up a lot of time and somehow it doesn’t turn out anywhere near those served at the restaurants 
but then again, it’s the time used get along that i always look out for. hehehe, don’t really care about the food.
that’s why when it comes to bbq or steamboat, i would go for something light before appearing
Bengbeng: yikes, my bad. i should have extended the invitation to you. but i myself wasn’t sure if i could make it and it was a last minute confirmation. anyway, i am pretty sure they would come up with a another one next year. the beach was great but the rain kinda spoiled the whole thing. hahaha your son would have loved it had we manage to get the games going.
