Mid Valley wins Tourism Malaysia’s Best Decorated Mall contest:

When everyone was busy doing last minute Christmas shopping over at the Pavillion and The Gardens, i was wondering around in Midvalley aimlessly. As usual i had to take the trusty slow yellow train to my destination. The weather wasn’t as kind as previous days, it poured yet again like bears and rabbits.
The decoration in Midvalley was really nice but i am pretty sure a lot of people would say The Pavillion’s looked better judging from the amount of bloggers that blogged about it 
While waiting for Lingster to appear, i waited at the center atrium and watched how children get excited when they sit on the hired Santa. There were even a couple of grown ups that couldn’t believe Santa was there and they started running around him before getting their picture taken -_-”
Lingster arrived and before we left for dinner, Santa said he needed a break and that’s when a group of performers appeared out of nowhere and started dancing to Disney-like songs. It was quite interesting and just when the crowd doubled, we left.
I have read and have been told about Carl’s Jr in Midvalley, so i suggested to try that for dinner.
Big Mistake …
Lingster got herself Mushroom Chicken Burger which originally had beef in it. So to change to chicken, an additional one ringgit was incurred -_-” I got myself Bacon Cheese Chicken burger plus fries and drink. Guess how much the food on the tray above cost ?

Frankly, i thought for that price i would be expected to crave for more which i didn’t. In fact, i was tempted to get a Zinger Burger a few hours after that. The only positive side i see in Carl’s Jr is the size of their burgers. It’s definitely big which is good for heavy eaters but in terms of taste of the two particular burgers, i would rather have Zinger anytime. Probably i ordered the wrong burgers, anyone out there with any recommendation ?
Now i am wondering if the much hyped J.Co donuts would end up like Carl’s Jr.
Exactly, by the time i hit half of the burger, i got sick of it. try it the first time but never again.

Carls Jr cannot always eat one. I tried it once before and I really think it was expensive. As for the taste, it’s debatable.

Haha! Then one piece of advice, try J.Co donuts after the hype is over, then you will be less disappointed, provided the hype is ever going to end. LOL.

hmm not sure about carls jr in mv. i had it in 1u. and i was hungry. missing 2 meals. that time it was goooooooood. yea but expensive.
i also cant understand the hype about those donuts man. mebbe im not into those artificial flavor saturated/sugar/cream drenched pastries. yuckies.
yeah i think you must be very hungry then will be worth going, other than that you are better off eating some other place
