Annual Dinner 2008 @ E&O Penang

Published by in apple, dining, fun on January 29th, 2008

Yesterday marked the 3rd year of me being involved with Apple products. I couldn’t believe that time passed by that fast and it was just like yesterday when there’s only 10 or less in the entire team and right now there’s like 60 plus. Our annual dinner this time was held at E&O Penang and theme given was black/white for the guys and pink for the girls unlike last year where we had to dress up as professions. I took this opportunity to use my DSLR to the max and i ended up with 500 over pictures -_-” Of course not all turned out well. But i have to say that when you are equiped with a DSLR, people just tend to pose and wouldn’t mind if their pictures are taken. And this is regardless if you are noob or an expert I barely know how to use all the buttons on the camera and there i was snapping away like i have been doing it for years -_-” So please bear with my amateurish shots

Photo Hunters – Old-Fashioned

I love when old-fashioned buildings or automobiles are maintained as how they looked like in their glory days. This particular hotel in Langkawi somehow managed to incoperate this old-fashioned looking lighthouse as part of their hotel. The pier by this hotel is used as a drop off point for tourists who were going for island hopping. The island hopping trip was really worth it as the boatman will show you a few islands and at the same time giving you a brief history on the islands. If you are lucky enough you would be able to see old-fashioned buildings on certain islands  Have a great weekend everyone !

I ♥ Girls in Cheongsam

Published by in Random on January 24th, 2008

The last few days i haven’t been feeling well, hence the lack of update on my blog. Besides that, i finally managed to window shop in Gurney and Queensbay. I haven’t had much time for myself because i was either working in Queensbay or trying to finish my projects. By the time i have reached home, it would be time to sleep Today was no different but i was half an hour early and no one was around in Queensbay. I headed over to some mamak shop called Queensbay Mamak, i think.    While having my breakfast, i noticed a group of ladies who were all in cheongsam and i have to say, they looked sizzling hawt In fact this whole week i have seen many in cheongsam; regardless whether it was the classic cheongsam suit or with the modern touch where the cheongsam was worn with a tight fitting jeans, they all looked hawt   Obviously with Chinese New Year around the corner, it explains the sudden surge of girls in cheongsam     So ladies, you know what to do

When your mum finds out you blog

Published by in personal on January 17th, 2008

My mum confronted me and asked whether did i own a blog. I asked her how did she find out and she said through one of her friends -_-” It seems she was asked, “Hey how are the kittens ?” (kitten entry). My mum who was puzzled replied saying that they are fine and out of curiosity my mum asked her how did she know about the kittens and that’s how my mum found out i had a blog. “Make sure you are not doing anything illegal, understand ? I always hear bloggers get into trouble one” she said. At that moment i was damn lazy to explain cause i was busy with my pasembur but then again since she brought this topic up, i had to make it clear that not all bloggers are like that. “That one a handful only ler, majority all blog about their personal life and technology,” i replied. “So this cheque you got from this company N-U-F-F-N-A-N-G, Nuffnang is it ? They are related to this blogging thing also ?“ “Yeaps they pay you when you advertise their ads on your site” “They legal or illegal one ?” —___—” “I already cashed in the cheque what, sure ler legal ……………………….

Petrol headed kitties in my car

Published by in crap on January 14th, 2008

Yesterday was definitely an unusual day. After having lunch with my family we headed home, just to find out that our car porch had a kitten running around. My dad asked me and my brothers to bring it out since we were gonna wash the cars that evening. We did the usual which is stomp the foot to scare away the kitty. That didn’t work and it ran under the car and disappeared … … so I got the keys to the car and opened the bonet. This would be a great ad for toyota I tried to grab it but it ran deeper into the engine bay -_-” Then one of my brothers alerted me that it’s near the suspension. We tried luring it out but it made matters worst. The kitty was gone again … it went some where deeper.

Steamboat on the 18th floor

Published by in food, fun, personal on January 2nd, 2008

It was New Year Eve and Charng had a small gathering at her apartment to do our very own steamboat. Basically that’s all the ingredients that we used. The day before that, Jiin and Charng went to buy them and so happened bumped into Vivien. So all three of them ended up buying what was needed. The table was too small to accommodate everything, so we shifted everything down. Furthermore Jiin brought along her Korean steamboat cooker (not sure how do i even call that ). HsuiYong, Lin Lin and Jiin Newspapers were spread on the floor and we transferred everything from the table to the middle of the hall. I have to say, the Korean styled steamboat was really a good idea except the cleaning part, hahaha. We used too much butter and it made a layer of black hardened butter on the pan which took time to clean.
