Details of my LIFE on a PALM LEAF

A few days after Chinese New Year, my mum was talking to me about leaf astrology whereby everything about us have been written on a palm leaf. Being hard headed like my dad, i told her i don’t believe in it and probably won’t waste my time nor money. But after i was told that our family friend tried and the person managed to get his name and his parents name right, i became curious.
I was a bit cocky to be frank and told both my parents, if he can even get my name right i will pay him immediately. Of course all this wasn’t done spontaneously. I made sure no information was given out while he was on his way to my house, so much so we made him think that he was actually seeing another person in case he was to do a background check. Yes i can be ruthless at times but i just wanted to make sure there’s no hanky panky business going on.
He finally sits right in front of me and asked for my thumbprint and as well as my date and time of birth. It took him close to 5-6minutes to do some calculation and then his hand reached into his bag. He searched through bundles and bundles of old palm leaves. It looked bleak at first and i was grinning to my mum knowing that it’s not gonna happen after all.
After a good 10 minutes, he said, “Finally… “.
He pulled out the rubber band from that bundle and flipped through numerous leaves and finally stopped at one particular leaf.
Boy, your mum’s name is XXXXXX, your dad’s name is XXXXXX and yours would be ….
…… Satkuru.

My mum smirked at me, my dad on the other hand was equally stunned as i was and all these were read from a leaf, A LEAF ! As i sat there in a daze, my mum decided to go in detail about me. Everything he said was fish-ing true ! He even talked about my past life and sins that i have done. My mum being a typical kaypo, asked when i was gonna get married and even how many kids i would have. Before this fella arrived, i clearly told my mum strictly nothing about the future and i guess it fell on deaf ears. Had i not stopped her, he would have even told me when i was gonna expire -_-”
After that session, he needed a lift back to town and i gracefully offered him. In the car, he talked about how he learned to read from the leaves from his dad and it has been passed down from generation to generation. I was even told that some leaves got destroyed or lost in the course of time so not everyone’s detail is available.
Midway towards town:
Satkuru, just now you lied to me…
… Hmmmm ? about ?
I asked you if you liked anyone and you said no…
… I was in fact telling the truth

That’s when i realized the leaf did contain every detail of my life and it started to creep me out. I just couldn’t wait to drop him off -_-”
Before he left my car, he told me that it’s good that i don’t smoke and drink and i should keep it that way @_@ I just nodded my head and sped off.
My mum has this craze of fengshui, numerology, astrology and i had seen them all but this is probably the only that has left me speechless. I googled about this palm leaf and found a blog that has a brief explanation on what is it about.

actually the people featured in my blog are given nicknames or shortnames, so my blog is definitely out of the question.
the thing is he had more details of me where no one else knows except my parents.

bro, in tamil, its called “ola choodi”. I may have got the English spelling wrong, but it doesnt matter much, i guess.
I can say that u r one lucky fellar, since not everyone’s leaf can be obtained easily like urs. Some people have to travel to India to find their respective leaves, and it might take hours for some.
It’s accuracy is close to 100%. I was a non-believer too, until I took the effort to learn more about ancient Hindu culture.
Details on the leaf/leaves are written in the form of poetry, and only a qualified reader can interpret its true meanings. Like for example, it wouldnt mention that ur name’s Satkuru, but it would give ur name’s meaning and maybe some other clues associated wit it. The reader than deciphers the clues and tell u.
The leaves hold a person’s record from birth to death. It is in accord with many Hindu principles. It is simply not some voodoo-that-you-do, although it does seem “magical”, but I believe it is simply a form of science mastered by the ancients and we simply do not understand its depth.

3POINT8: of course there’s more than what i have written here. i do get what you mean as in some details can guess on it but there’s some things that my dad did test him and he was able to give the exact information which only dad knew, not even my mum. at the beginning it was kinda vague cause it was general but later on when he went deeper than can see it was the real deal

yeah i was adamant that i didn’t want to know what my future was. i am not sure about the explanation about this but as far as accuracy is concerned, it has been spot on
