2011 was the year where I was the least productive on my blog. You can go through the entries and realized there were barely 20 post.

2012 on the other hand will be a year where I will be documenting more entries as I will rely on my phone more.

I gave away my PC and been relying on my old notebook which takes a long time to boot and not to mention to launch Firefox, Photoshop, etc.

I recently cashed out from Nuffnang and it was good to see passive income which will be funded for my coming soon trip. Hopefully that will spark my urge to write more.

Until then, have a great 2012 and be sure to see more updates from me, whether it’s from the phone or notebook.

Realizing there’s an update for WordPress app for the iPhone, I thought why not give it a try while waiting here in Phuket International airport.

One thing i hated about the previous version of WordPress app is that the pictures uploaded will be forced to appear at the end of the entry. Now it seems I can post up anywhere.

I still have a problem uploading a video. I even tried shortening it thinking a video has to be less than 10 seconds but that’s not the case. The app simply crashes when I try uploading a video.

Tried shooting a video on the spot and it also causes the app to crash.

At least the pictures are placed exactly where I want

The title has no meaning on it’s own. So don’t even bother deciphering what i meant. Hahaha. I had a bunch of key words that i wanted to put in my title and so i came up with the lamest way possible to link them up. Anyway here’s a short update on what will be posted up soon and what have I been up to for the past few weeks.

I finally had my first GCB burger aka Grilled Chicken Burger and my verdict is ….. It’s aight.

The price is the only major setback. If McDonalds could only replace McSpicy with GCB.

Recently I had the chance to ride on an ATV thanks to a certain company that loves giving cheap deals. The colours of the ATV does not signify anything lol.

I checked my blog thru my Safari in my iPhone and I saw large signs of Flash O.O!

No no, no one is mocking about the inability to play flash on iDevices but I was trying out Frash which enables Flash. Not bad actually but I never bothered using flash on my phone. It all comes down to personal preference.

MTV World Stage this year had Bunk Face, WonderGirls, Tokio Hotel and Katy Perry. It rained like cats and dogs before the event even started. The rain sizzled out after Bunk Face finished. I would call this a concert because everything was done to look good on TV. For that, we the audience we left waiting for more than 30 to 45 minutes between acts.

What ever it is I thought Tokio Hotel brought the house down! Thank you Blup Blup for the tickets!

Finally, I am officially back with Switch (CG Computers Sdn Bhd). They are one of the main Apple Premium Resellers in Malaysia and their only store in Klang Valley is in Mines Fair. I have my weekends to spare and here I am helping users make choices on what they want

… and finally …

… i have my JetSetter Badge on Foursquare. Nothing to shout about since a lot out there are cheating these days to obtain mayorships and badges.

I came across this platform quite sometime back but it never clicked me to use it as i am always on the go and i needed something on my phone which was fast enough to punch away and attach photos if possible.

Then i was told by Joshua that there’s an app for Tumblr in AppStore.

There and then, i downloaded and started off.

Not like it’s gonna replace this blog but at least now i have a place to post up random pictures and also write super random entries.

The past few hours i realized there are quite a number of people that already have or had just registered with Tumblr. The next big question was whether it does the same like blogspot.

Well you do have to get use to it’s way of handling different categories of entries.

These are the categories for your entries and each of it will have slightly different presentation which is kinda cool ! I have yet to try all of it but by the looks of how the quotes appeared, i can say the rest should be as eye pleasing as the rest.

One problem i had was that there’s no comment functionality. Tumblr doesn’t have the comment system built in.

So what do you do to have comments in Tumblr?

Disqus.com !

Upon signing up, you will be asked to choose a shortname for Disqus. Then headover to the Dashboard of your Tumblr, click Customize which is on your right side bar. Find for Appearance which is on the top bar and inser the created shortname from Disqus into “Disqus Shortname” section.

Walla !

Now you have comment function in your Tumblr !

Of course this only works automatically for certain templates. If it doesn’t appear, then grab the codes from Disqus and paste it in the html code

Hahaha i was bored ok when i was choosing a name

Yesterday i had the chance to be at the Sepang F1 Circuit for a tour around Vodafone McLaren Mercedes garage thanks to Lenovo Malaysia. Basically it’s to highlight how Lenovo has been integrated into the team and it’s definitely an eye opener. That i will talk about in my upcoming entry.

What i wanted to focus on was that yesterday was April 1st, April Fools Day and i have always tried to be more alert when it comes to pranks.

After having breakfast with the good people of Lenovo Malaysia, we were briefed by Mr Khoo on how Lenovo and F1. After the briefing, he was to give out a token of appreciation and naturally i took my camera out.

Little did i know, i was the recipient when i was called up.

Looking rather confused, i think i took a good few seconds that it’s not a prank and i better get myself up there. Upon receiving, i was amazed that my name was on it as well as my url.

I was like woahhhhh ! I had had trophies for scrabble, monopoly and even cooking competition *yes i won 1st prize in cooking and no it’s not April Fools* but never had anything for my blog. Though i have reduced in the amount of entries compared to a few years back, i still do try to write whenever i have the spare time.

It is in a way funny to see the url there, hehehe.

I took a snap shot and sent to my mum. My mum asked if i don’t have anything better to do on April Fools Day, hahaha. An interesting way to start April.

On the side note, the next few days will determine if Manchester United will be trophy-less for this season. With Rooney out of the game for at least the next few week. Opponents like Chelsea and Bayern Munich will definitely try to make the most out of it. To make maters worse interesting, both games will be played at Old Trafford.

I am finally back!

Well let me say that i am very excited to see what 2009  have installed for me. In slightly more than a week from now, i will be off to Cambodia for 6 days with 6 friends of mine and that is definitely gonna  have me missing  from my blog yet again.

The idea of Cambodia was first conceived when i was strolling about on the sandy beach of Redang Island after a crazy day at Nipple Island. Initially, in the morning, i received a call from my mum saying i had cheques from Nuffnang and that she had already banked it in. Knowing i had extra cash in hand, i jokingly asked William and Angeline, …

“Come let’s go Cambodia ….”

William was fast to say he was in. I can’t even be sure if he even took time to think

Angeline on the hand took probably a few seconds longer before agreeing to join the bandwagon …

… and that’s how things got rolling. One by one the rest joined in, Lee May, Aaron, Ai Ling and Emily. I am excited, everyone is excited cause no one knows what is gonna happen as our plans are kinda sketchy. Keeping our fingers crossed that everything goes as planned

Personally i am definitely happy with how Nuffnang has changed the blogosphere especially in Malaysia (… and also in the other countries that they are invading). Thanks to them, i have the extra moolah which enabled me to get my flight tickets to Cambodia.

On the side note, also related to Nuffnang, this coming Saturday would be the auditions of Malaysian Dream Girls in Kuala Lumpur which is also the final audition for this season.

Merry New Year everyone !

P/S: I just realized my last entry was written last year >.<! LOL

Last week i was fortunate enough to be back in Penang for the 4th consecutive weekend and i was back mainly because needed to get some things for my thesis as well as attend a Penang Blogger’s Meet which is known as What a Bloggiful World.

The venue was Paradise Sandy Beach Resort which coincidentally was the same venue for the Penang Food Hunt which i have yet to blog about

Upon reaching, i was greeted by Chee Hsien and Imin who were in charged of the Registration booth. Dolphin and I reached quite early and there were barely anyone in the hall.

Though the time stated was 12pm sharp but as usual some had their watches set to half an hour slower. But sooner or later, the hall did fill up. To be frank, i had my doubts at the beginning but i was proved other wise. The decoration of the hall was not how i imagined and it was more like a prom themed hall. I felt under-dressed -_-!

The program finally started with speeches from the emcees,  main organizer and also the VIP. Which was followed by a 3 segment show by Celebrity Fitness which caught everyone off-guard. Probably no one expected such a performance by the gym instructors, lol.

Three belly dancers appeared before our eyes on the stage and so were the amount of photographers who gathered right in front of the stage -_-! and that includes me, lol. For some reason i had a gut feeling that i was constantly being monitored by dolphin, hahaha.

One of the performers for Body Combat which was more like doing taekwando or karate moves according to music.

Then it was Hip Hop dance and i have to say my photo didn’t really justify the swift movements the 3 girls showed but this was the only shot i took of them before returning to my seat.

During the officiating ceremony, Charles decided to sabotage while i was trying to get a shot of the people on the stage -_-! lol

This was probably the cheesiest part of them all, celebrating for the December babies. But it didn’t really matter cause it just added more fun to the function and so happened the YB’s birthday falls on December as well.

Then everyone was asked to touch the knife for good luck

There was also games and 10 lucky people were chosen. They would each performed whatever that’s stated in the piece of paper given to them in exchange of a RM50 reload by Digi.

Mark was asked to pout like Angelina Jolie

I can’t recall what he was suppose to do but i know Minny jual mahal like there’s no tomorrow, lol.

Eunice was also there and she had to act out if a blackout occurred while blogging

Erica was asked to pose 10 times different if she were to take pictures of herself.

Probably you would notice a lot of the pictures were blur -_-! Sigh, i need steady hands.

There were lucky draws right after the games and prizes were worth RM 10k if i am not mistaken.

These past few weeks i have been busy with traveling up and down from Penang and KL that i have neglected my blog for quite sometime. Somehow or rather, i still managed to slip in an entry or two before it starts piling up like a few months back.

Last Thursday, William and i attended the relaunching of Zouk which was under renovation for quite sometime. There was a huge crowd waiting at the entrance though there was a light shower and once the opening act was done, everyone rushed in I even met a couple of former course mates and we all rolled together since one of them is familiar with the place.

We left close to 1am plus.

… the following day i was off to Penang to meet up with MMU’s hockey team to snap a few pictures for them. As much as i try not to return home often but for some reason, i just love being at home especially ever since my bed over here is kinda pointless. It’s as good as sleeping on the floor. Ever since i shifted i have tried to find reasons to be back in Penang

Same goes for this weekend and the following weekend.

This weekend i will be joinig Bernard and Chiaw Yin in Penang Food Hunt. I am not really sure what are we suppose to do but the idea of being in Penang and food never made me think twice I remembered reading about it on a blog that is heavily publicized by Eunice. I found out Jiin is joining too, lol.

The following weekend i would be attending this event, ‘What a Bloggiful World!‘. Ai Ling messaged me and asked if would be able to make it. So happened that would be the last time i would be back in Penang for 2008 before eventually returning a week before my Cambodia trip early in 2009.

Oh ya, did i say i was at Skytrex a couple of weeks ago. I didn’t manage to get much pictures cause i was too busy struggling to balance myself on eye blinding ropes, LOL. I must say it was one heck of a work out and i personally love the flying fox. There wasn’t only one but many flying fox.

Finally !

After 3 years having my blog over in the US, it will be moving to a server back here in Malaysia So in the next few days, there could be some glitches due to the propagation as well as transferring of data

I am very excited cause all this while loading my blog has been a pain in the neck. Hopefully this could speed it up a bit.
