iPhone 4: Maxis better? Digi cheaper? Who to go for?

I know it’s not one of the best photo shopped pictures out there but as long as it serves it’s purpose, hehehe. There’s so much news, tweets, facebook updates regarding iPhone4 lately. Malaysia finally will be getting this phone, along with China, Philippines, Thailand and even Turkey. People have been asking me as well, who to go for? Digi? or Maxis? During the last model, iPhone 3Gs Digi had the obvious cheaper package. I was then stuck to my current contract to Maxis thus all i had to do was wait for the next launch. Now that its finally here and after comparing both plans, i honestly couldn’t decide which was cheaper and so i typed out all on Excel to compare. You see for me data plan is very important, like super important. Why? Cause i have been getting screwed on and off by Maxis billing department for exceeding my allocated bandwidth. Even when i’ve turned off my data under Settings. So that got me into a frenzy on whether i should just try out Digi or maintain where i am and probably fix a limit with Maxis. Now that there isn’t a common comparison except the allocated data

Fake Nike Shoes sold in Queensbay Penang ?

Published by in ponders, Random on March 18th, 2010

Two weeks ago i was back in Penang, Angeline and i decided to have lunch in Queensbay when we came across some sales going on in the middle of QB’s atrium. Different shops were participating and most items were heavily discounted. As usual, most Penangites or at least i, wait for moments like this to get items that are usually not within my spending power. Immediately when i saw the swoosh logo with a 50%-70% off sign, i joined in digging for whatever i could get. Every Manchester United and Arsenal came together at one place digging for their sizes, lol.

Digi – Always the smarter choice

If you didn’t know already, Digi are currently having their Internet Bonanza which ends on the 15th of November with only the Huawei modems left. I got to know about this offer from Joshua during the recent Dimension launch at Sheraton by Maxis and Astro. He mentioned that Digi is having promotion on Blackberries and N97 minis and they are CHEAP ! For once i thought, finally Malaysia is catching up to those crazy promotions like in the US or UK. Maxis never did anything for their iPhone and i don’t see that happening anytime soon. Digi on the other hand as gone all out on their 3G service ever since rolling out the Digi3Gturbo. It’s always good to have more players in the field. When Angeline mentioned that she realizes she’s getting 3G connection in Penang, i asked her to check out the plans available and probably find out if it would be better for me to get a line as well since she’s on Digi. Too bad the person at the Customer service wasn’t as how she expected. Simple questions asked and the person was more interested in marketing some other plans for her -_-” In the end,

Wedding photos reaching an all new high

Published by in ponders on October 4th, 2007

Just yesterday i was reading about David’s entry about his colleague’s wedding dinner and how he was in awe with the wedding photos when the slide show was shown. This past few months, i have noticed quite a number of bloggers posting some of their wedding photos and the ideas some photographers can come out with are really impressive. Besides spending a bomb on the dinner (which you will be able to cover back from the ang pows and might also make a profit), the next thing couples spend on are photos. Couples nowadays just don’t take photos in front of their house or shopping complexes but you can see them in gardens, forest ? like what David mentioned … The last time i was in Klang visiting lingster, we went cycling round the man-made pond and there we spotted a couple in their wedding attires, posing for their photographer. The bride had a long long trail and she was dragging it through the grass and i noticed a lot of old ‘aunties’ pointing and laughing. Either they must be saying how ignorant the bride was by wrecking her dress or they could have just giggled because she was their
