Yesterday i followed Weng Chong, Bernard and Wendy to Sunway to watch Beowulf. First of all the new Sunway building looked sucky and it’s as though they did it in rush and couldn’t come out with a better design. Of all the new/expanded shopping complexes i would say Pavillion had more appeal.

So now back to the movie, i am not giving out any spoilers but i have to say the movie would have been better if it was shot in real life. There’s just too much hype for this movie and if it wasn’t for the short jokes, i would have just slept off.

Final verdict -

ME: At least we got to say Angelina Jolie topless in CG, i can say that was the only highlight. Hahaha.

I agreed with Woolala that so far nothing has come close to Final Fantasy VII Advent Children. I don’t even play the game nor know the characters but the movie had a great storyline and the graphics were magnifico. I just felt Beowulf tried too hard.

Personally i felt the name was funny altogether and i kept using the name Beowulf in anyway possible. Of course after a while it gets kinda lame.

Initially my ex-room mate, dranreb told me he purchased a lump of space from a server over in the US and asked if i would like some of it. I always wanted to run my own domain name, so satkuru.info was created. I never liked writing and i did the next best thing which was posting up pictures. This is where my trusty z800i came in and i took a whole load of pictures where ever i go. I do post up quite often and that’s how i started off my photoblog. The photoblog ran on an open source script which was easy to modify. 

After more than a year, i finally ended satkuru.info and shifted over to satkuru.com and that’s where i started typing, i mean really typing in entries -_-” I relied a lot on blogspot and that carried on for another year before finally settling for wordpress.I know i have been beating round the bush and haven’t given a real answer to the title. So the reasons I blog are for me to kill time and at the same time make new friends

It has been a while since i have blogged let alone surf the net. While blog hopping, i realized i was tagged by WuChing He wants to know if i had a time machine which year of my life would i like to return to.

The year would definitely be nineteen ninety four. Back then i was in primary four and i loved every single day because all of us played like there’s no tomorrow. We would play marbles, ‘lastik’-ing spiders, jengket, ‘toy’, eraser war every single day. When the guys get bored with these games, we would happily join the girls in their rubberband game, where you are suppose to jump over. Guys who matured earlier backed off cause their hairy legs wouldn’t stand the pain when the rubberband brushes along their legs.

But one thing i can vividly remember was my Maths teacher punishing those who had lower than the marks set by him before a certain exercise or test. He explained to us, if there’s 20 questions, everyone should get 18 and above or face the music. And when he said face the music, he meant for the guys, he will pull their sideburns upwards which is #%$@-ing pain. Yes yes i too went through that punishment. As for the girls, he would pull their cheeks apart and when i said cheeks, i meant the cheeks on the face and not the butt -_-”. The girls were more dramatic. They would cry before he even punishes them. The guys with their typical ego would be telling the rest that it didn’t hurt a bit

After a few weeks, less and less people had to go through the punishment and at the same time our class average marks for maths rose to an all time high. Of course if this were to happen in today’s school, the teacher would have been suspended or even sued

Nineteen ninety four was the year i chose if i had a time machine. What year will the following people choose ?
