Policeman didn’t like my name

I was on my way back to Cyberjaya when i decided to floor the accelerator of my car. The road was an alternative route and it’s usually empty especially close to midnight. Just as my car was accelerating up the hill, i saw blue and red lights flashing. My eyes literally popped out and i stopped chewing my gum.

I slowed down my car as i approached the road block …

… just that very afternoon my mum called to say that one of my nuffnang cheques was already cashed in and i was thinking, well there goes that money -_-” …

Police: Lesen dan IC ( license and identification card) …

I handed over to the officer while i tried to give those pitiful look ala Puss in Boots from Shrek -_-” which obviously failed big time when i knew i was speeding like a donkey.

Police: Kenapa tak diberi nama Johnny ke …? (Why weren’t you given the name like Johnny?)
Me: Eheheheheh *giving those dumb grins*
Police: Siapa bagi nama kamu ini ? (Who gave you this name ?)
Me: Bapa saya (My dad) swt
Police: Bapa bagi ??? Bila kamu ini balik kampung nanti, pergi marah bapa. Tanya kenapa tak diberi nama macam Johnny … (You dad gave ? When you are back at home, scold your dad. Ask him why weren’t you given the name like Johnny)
Me: Ehehehehehe *dumb grin routine again*

He returned my IC and my licence and i drove off

For the first time, instead of cursing while driving back i actually smiled

So as how my sister was let go because she’s a doctor or rather soon to be doctor, i got off because the policeman simply didn’t like my name -_-”

As for the record, the policeman that spoke to me was a very nice fella and just kept cracking jokes while talking to me. I guess it’s very rare to come across such situation

Moral of the story ? Have a name like mine and not Johnny …

P/S: … thankfully i wasn’t singing like what i did last time, if not God knows what will the policeman say this time -_-”

Redang - Finale

Thankfully when i was in Redang the only time it rained was at night and probably drizzled a couple of times in the day. So none of our activities were jeopardized by the weather. One of the snorkeling spots that i liked was the marine park. Though some may say it’s overrated but i think for individuals like me who hardly snorkel let alone swim, this place is definitely a must-swim-location

With the white sandy beach stretching as far as your eyes could see and not forgetting the different shapes of fishes swimming in that area, no wonder this is one of the main hot spots for any tourist.

The guards had set up a perimeter around the beach and that’s as far anyone is allowed to swim cause any further than that, you could be easily drift off no thanks to the strong current. And let me stress that if ever any of you were to drop by at Redang, just get yourself a lifejacket. Regardless whether you are good swimmer or not, the jacket definitely helps a lot especially when you are swimming against the current. You wouldn’t want to look like a dog yelping for help …. lol

If you are lucky enough the people in charge of ferrying you over would bring loaves of bread. Obviously there’s a reason for doing so which is to attract fishes. During our stay in Redang, the resort brought us to Marine Park twice -_-” So the second time around, instead of swimming i walked around snapping pictures … and also threw pieces of bread to scare the daylights out of anyone

William too decided not to swim and brought his alpha as well. At one point he actually fell into the water -_-” and if wasn’t for his quick thinking, his DSLR would be fully submerged had he not lift up his hand with his camera as high as possible. Clumsy pot

Before leaving Marine Park, the rest did a few LOA pose (LOA - Lack Of Attention). hahaha and William was showing them the pictures for approval.

Besides swimming and canoeing, we also played a couple of in-house games like dart, pingpong, jenga … The next two pictures are courtesy of William

One of the most ‘potong stim’ moment was when Dolphin insisted we play scrabble. I mean who in the world goes on a holiday and crack their head over a word-making game ? Obviously the answer is those gila people in the picture above. Best part was the board wasn’t even scrabble, so the point system was different. Nevertheless, Dolphin who initiated the game got thrashed to the point where i just stopped the game instead of continuing. hahaha. You wouldn’t want a emo-dolphin during a holiday trip, it’s a big NO-NO.

Then i was humiliated in a game of Congkak #@$%#$^#. Revenge revenge …. -_-”

OH and did i say there was a Karoake room in our little resort? It wasn’t too fancy but it had all the equipments which could even put some Karoake outlets to shame ….LOL that was exaggerating -_-” The collection of songs were kinda old but it was better than nothing.

The karoake room had a battle languages. One group sang all Chinese songs and we sang all English songs, mainly Westlife. Yes yes very the sad case but what to do, the list didn’t have Flo Rida or Kanye West …. not even Cold Play, LOL. I didn’t last long in the Karoake Room, so i went back and slept off

I have been asked sooooooooooooo many times where are the chicks in bikinis and to answer that, i am gonna post one miserable picture -_-” LOL turned out that most pictures weren’t clear so i rather not post it up

Codename: Dark Horse, i am pretty sure those who were in Redang had no clue why was that name given, LOL. So it’s story telling time: Aaron, William and I realized there’s always guys surrounding her wherever she goes and thus making an assumption that they were all after her. So i teased Aaron, saying, ” Eh you could try and you can be the dark horse” Hahaha and from there on we just referred her as Dark Horse.

So with three of us all equipped with tele lens, the dark-horse-club was formed. Real sad case man three of us. So to those who would want to join the club, feel free to do so, LOL. You will be known as a Dark Horse Hunter once you are in -_-”

That’s Redang and i hope i didn’t miss out anything cause i am doubt i am gonna write another entry about Redang

Beauty & the Beast and Istana Budaya

So after committing myself to attend a musical which i had no idea how it would be like since this was my first, the day finally came and boy was i surprise on how a musical could be as entertaining as the movie if not better. It was Beauty and the Beast and i thought what could probably go wrong since i loved the cartoon. Hours before leaving for the show, my hopes were shot down when i was told that this musical isn’t highly acclaimed in other countries but i think in the end it all comes down to personal preference. Anyway that’s besides the point. The show was awesome in short.

I was accompanied by Speaker friend, Lingster and Kawan lama dari zaman batu (Jiin, Ling, Charng) …. LOL and of course WernSern

Before the show we all gathered at Chinoz on the Park for a light dinner and it was a major ‘potong-stim’ experience. The service was way below par and don’t let me get started with the price. I wouldn’t be ranting about the price had the service been acceptable.

Charng ordered some salad thingy and she got this …. i am not sure about the description of the dish but she definitely wasn’t expecting her salad to be like this, LOL. As for me, they didn’t have what i wanted from the menu and i was forced to choose something else.

I had soup, Jiin had some cake, Lingster had some prawns and Wern Sern had salad. It was green bean soup i think or was it spinach soup ? Which ever it is, i initially asked for mushroom soup but it seems the kitchen ran out of that -_-”

I think Wern Sern was the only one who enjoyed his dinner, JIin came in second since hers was dessert and not the main meal All this happened in the span of forty minutes or less before the show. So we shoved everything down our throats before asking for the bill.

When the bill arrived, everyone was poorer by at least two red notes and mind you the meal wasn’t much. We even opted for sky juice. But all this faded off when we finally got our butts to the hall. I personally love the ever changing sets on the stage. They made really good use of the space given and everyone acted so well. I am not gonna elaborate much about the storyline as i am sure most of you would have known already. Personal rating would be a staggering nine upon ten. LOL.

Just when i thought musical/orchestra would be out of the way for quite sometime since it’s not easy to gather people let alone attend one, i was off again ….

This outing was slightly different cause instead of having the tickets before hand, we decided to get it off the counter …. and guess what, the tickets were sold out. It was a show by the MPO at KLCC and they were playing Beethoven this time.

Bernard reached there first and he called me saying there weren’t any tickets left, even the next day had none to spare -_-” So on the way to KLCC, Dolphin suggested Istana Budaya and KLPac as an alternative. Why there’s an alternative ? That’s because all of us were dressed up and they would wanna go somewhere, lol -_-” Oh and William was also in KLCC waiting for all of us but weren’t told about the tickets till we reached. His face was really dark as he walked towards my car, hahaha. Bernard later on got into my car as well and we went to KLPAC …. just to find out there weren’t any shows -_-”

Then we drove to Istana Budaya and found out there’s an orchestra show on Movie themes called the ‘Musical Journey Concert with National Symphony Orchestra’ and we got ourselves the tickets. We were like a bunch of desperados -_-”

We headed back to KLCC for dinner.

Since Chinoz on the Park was a washout the first time, i suggested The Apartment which was just beside Chinoz.

Just when i thought my luck with the Apartment would be better compared to Chinoz, i was wrong -_-” There was nothing to shout about when it came to the food nor the service. The outlet over at the Curve is definitely better than this.

There’s just something about the restaurants on that row in KLCC. Probably i am jinxed to step into any of those outlets. I think i would be better off at McD or KFC.

We then left for Istana Budaya again and for thirty ringgit, we sat like 4 rows from the stage, lol. Personal favourite was when they played Phantom of the Opera, the songs really got ‘kick’. The conductor was very lively as well and mind you he is a local unlike MPO which was conducted by a foreigner. I have nothing against foreigners but i was quite surprised on how our local conductor performed. He even sang back to the Saprona singer Cecilia Yap at one point, lol kinda cheeky.

They played Sound of Music and William started doing his moves which we used to perform back in Melaka days for our Early Entrance Program in MMU.

Oh and did i say we had to sing Negaraku before the show started ? Hehehe i can’t even remember when was the last time i sang Negaraku

All and all i thought the show was not bad. The second was definitely better. Personal rating would be six and half upon ten. Don’t ask me where did the half came from …. LOL. I just felt it deserved another half rather being six

After the show i was forced to make two U-turns and go round a lake to get to this place. William and Dolphin were just in awe with the colours of the wheel. I on the other hand kept my eye on the ice cream man, LOL

This was the first time i played Jenga or similarly known as Uno Stacko and i must say it was really nail-biting playing this game

To those who have no idea how this game works, at the beginning this tower will be filled with wooden blocks and each person will take turns to remove one block at a time. The rule is you are not allowed to remove any block from the first 2 tiers. Obviously the one that drops the stack looses the game.

So from the picture above, you can see the middle tiers having only one block supporting the tiers above. This was shot was moments before Aaron dropped the whole pile

I would definitely love to play Jenga anytime. So have you played this before?

Redang - Laguna Beach

Yes it’s Redang themed entry yet again …. and this time around, some of us journeyed to the otherside of the island to get to Laguna Beach. Since i was zombie-fied when i was there during the first night, this time around i made sure i was all charged up to see what Laguna Beach was all about.

Only four of us went over as the rest were pre-occupied with shark-sighting and canoe-ing. So Dolphin, LeeMay, WIlliam and I left right after returning from snorkeling.

Midway through, we came across this rocky-pebbley area which is usually covered with water during the night. We walked over it and it wasn’t easy balancing around. The rocks reminded me of Nipple Island. The only difference was this time i had my slippers on

Lee May posing for William and Dolphin. I just stood from afar and snapped candidly This place is really ideal for any photoshooting but then again having the right coloured clothes would be an additional bonus So after burning ourselves under the scotching sun for a good fifteen minutes, we carried on walking thru the jungle towards Laguna Beach.

The first thing you would notice about Laguna Beach is ….

… tonnes of girls in bikinis the soft soft sand.

It’s so soft that it feels like the sand was ice blended before being layed all over the beach. Comparing to the sand over at our resort, Kalong Beach has very rough sand. I immediately walked around barefooted and it felt so good, especially after a hellish hike at Nipple Island.

Dolphin and Lee May helped themselves with all the fixed props in front of the famous More More Tea Inn which was made famous by Ritchie Ren and Sammy Cheng in Summer Holidays. It’s like a must photographed area of the the Laguna beach. People have to line up at times just to snap with the heart shaped thingy on the building which unfortunately isn’t in any of the pictures here.

To take good pictures here on Laguna Beach, i have prepared a few pointers for those who are gonna go there in the near future.

A tripod would be a plus point to get good shots especially for landscape

But not everyone owns a tripod and that’s where this pose comes in. Engineered by the almighty dolphin, standing as such gives you maximum stability, LOL.

We tried to find a place to sit down and put all our bags in one place before William and i walk around to ‘wash eyes’ and Dolphin returns to the sea with Lee May. While doing so, i was randomly snapping around and came across this …

We then walked towards the other end of Laguna Beach since there were too many people at the beginning of the beach and leaving our bags unintended doesn’t sound safe at all.

We finally left our things on this huge boulder at the end of Laguna Beach. Dolphin and Lee May changed in a flash and they were off to the beach.

William then went towards the beach to snap Dolphin and Lee May in the water when i was back at the boulders guarding the bags -_-” At least my lens was able to zoom to a considerably good distance for sniping. So much so that i even caught Dolphin and Lee May giving me the tongue -_-”

After a good one and half hours, we decided to call it a day and head back. We waited for the other two to return from the sea. In the mean time we played around with a few sillihoute shots and one of it appeared to be nice and you can check it out on William’s blog.

While changing, Dolphin got excited finding out that the sky was actually blue in colour. Lee May just didn’t know what to say, hahahaa.

We reached back in time for dinner and before retiring for the day, we played a few games and the whole cycle restarts again the next day.

About a month ago, my nieces from KL came storming to Penang since it was their school holidays and i was asked to bring them around for a food hunt. I knew they were all durian-eaters and so i brought them to Relau where they had numerous durian stalls.

To those who have no idea what durian is, it’s a local fruit here in Malaysia and it’s husk has torns pointed in all directions which makes it dangerous if it falls of a tree or being swung at someone

Consuming too much of durian could cause sore throat or worst, high fever.

Most tourist wouldn’t stand the odour of this fruit, so much so that most hotels have a no durian policy

Any of you out there a durian lover ? LOL i am one

Redang - Nipple Island

After riding on the boat for about half an hour, we finally reached the resort that we were gonna stay for the next four days and three night. Redang Kalong was the name, RK for short. Not to be mistaken for RK House - No Pork, lol.

We were then given a short briefing by the owner of the place in terms of timing of the meals and time for check-in/check-out. Then the keys were given out and for the next four days i will be staying with William, Aaron and Hugo.

What i liked about this resort was that the rooms were all wood based, giving you that you-are-now-on-island-and-everything-is-better-in-wood feel. Surprisingly the rooms were all fitted with airconds. Water heater was also installed in the bathroom but only a lucky few would experience it. During my four days there, i never got to bathe in hot water …. not even once -_-”

So after unpacking our things, we rushed down for the first snorkeling session. So we waited for the rest and turned out that the girls took an extra ten minutes. We later found out that they were busy applying mascara and foundation. Not like anyone is gonna recognise them once they are in the water, lol.

So since we missed the first snorkeling session, we did the next best thing; snap pictures. I took this opportunity to learn more about my polarizer and William was kind enough to show how to use it. The girls appeared not too long after and everyone just lazed on the beach chairs and hammock.

The next snorkeling session was at 2.15pm, so some of us took a short nap and some just hung around till lunch time.

Each time there’s session for snorkeling, diving or meals, an old skool bell is rung around the resort to alert everyone about what is happening. It’s something you don’t experience often.

The girls werent’t late this time and we manage to get into the boat in time. I entered the water without any life jacket thinking how hard could it be swimming in the sea …. but i was wrong @_@ With the strong current around, i spent most of the time trying to maintain my spot rather than swimming around. That wore me down and in the end i retired and got back to the boat.

We returned to the resort after two hours and since some of us still had some energy left in us, we decided to canoe.

About two kilometers from the shore was an island which had nipple shaped stones all round it and that’s where we decided to canoe, lol. So imagine this, canoe-ing at 4.30pm under the hot sun in the open sea @_@

It took us about twenty minutes to reach the shore of Nipple Island and from there on we decided to hike up the breasted hills, hahaha.

Now here’s the best bit of the whole canoe-ing expedition, see the picture above ? check out the person on the far left and far right …. noticed anything missing from these two macho fellas ? they were both slipper-LESS >_<”

Now why is that the best bit of the expedition ? You see from afar, the island looked like it had a beach with white smooth sand and …… Aaron and I decided to leave out slippers behind. But that was a wrong move, i mean a WRONG MOVE. When we got there, the blardy beach was covered with blardy dead corals and it was blardy pain walking barefooted on that island. I was literally screaming like a small boy in me cause it really hurt badly. So much so that my feet did bleed at one point -_-”

After hiking for a short distance, we finally reached the place where it resembled erected nipples and boy oh boy were we surrounded by so many of them, lol. Notice how macho the front two fellas are ? That was the few seconds that i smiled before moaning in pain again. And if the pebbles weren’t bad enough, the ants just made matters worst.

We carried on climbing to the top …. yes barefooted some more. Real stim ler. The view from the top was really breath-taking. We sat down for a while to enjoy the cool breeze blowing from all directions. Then we slowly hiked back down.

About two hundred meters from Nipple Island was a patch of white sand shaped like a crescent and we decided to canoe there and run around on that patch of sand.

… and that turned out to be a bad idea for me and aaron @_@

It wasn’t just white sand but it’s AGAIN covered with dead corals @_@

Check out the two fellas on the far left ler, macho-ness on its highest level. Hahaha.

We didn’t spend much time on this crescent looking patch of sand cause first it was covered with dead corals and second it was getting dark. So after snapping a few pictures, we canoed back Canoe-ing back was another issue.

Upon reaching the beach, Aaron and i canoed into a super low area and scrapped corals along the way. It came to a point where our canoe actually got stuck and had to force our way out with our oars -_-” And that was another experience that i will never forget.

After dinner, we walked to Lagune beach. This was probably the maddest part of the day for me. I was literaly a walking zombie and was dying to go back to the resort. When i finally got back to my room, i dozed off within seconds upon lying on the bed

I have met many friends thru this little yet powerful app and i can say it’s really growing by the bandwidth as time flies

I can go on typing on each and every sector that i can think off to thank both of them but i am sure Lasker and Elise will understand what me and my fellow comrades are doing. Hahaha. So thank you and hope to see SO grow exponentially in the future and also hope to see Saw Juniors soon, wahahahaha

This morning i was trying to crack my head on what to post up and Chun Huey suggested why don’t i use some of my Redang pictures. And that was what i did, lol.

Just more than a week ago, i was on this beautiful Redang Island which was on the east coast of Malaysia. The weather was excellent for diving, snorkelling as well as photography. The clouds somehow formed beautiful shapes as though it was strokes of white paint on the sky. The picture above shows how bright it was, in fact Dolphin was even wearing a cap, LOL.

So to capture the clouds, i had to put use my polarizer to cut down the amount of light and with a few settings to my DSLR thanks to William, i was able to capture the clouds without the glare of the sunlight.

This settings are also ideal to do silhouette pictures.

Being on the island gave me the chance to learn a lot on photography and this was one of it Anyone up for another trip ? Cambodia probably ?

Redang - The journey to Redang

Exactly a week ago, i was sitting in that very chair staring into the sea which surrounds Redang Island and i tell you, it’s one of the few islands that you won’t regret visiting. Pangkor didn’t make that big an impact to me but Redang definitely did. Oh btw, thanks for this picture William

The journey to Kuala Terengganu itself was an experience to me

There were 2 groups that went to Redang and from the KL side, there’s William, Daniel, Aaron, David, Lisa and of course me. Penang side consisted of Dolphin, Lee May, Lasker, Elise, Hugo and Wendy.

William and i met with Aaron at KL Sentral before heading to PWTC via KTM Komuter. Then we had our dinner before the remaining three arrived. The bus stop was walking distance from PWTC. The bus departed at 10.30pm and i was told it will take easily 7-8hours to reach Kuala Terengganu.

Half way thru the journey we had a stop for half an hour before moving on. Pictures are all taken with my handy Nokia 5610 music express I was just too lazy to whip out my DSLR, after all it’s only a short stop.

I never got much sleep throughout the journey and i ended up entertaining myself with a couple of movies and games from my ipod. Then out of the blue, William woke up and saw me playing this particular game called the Tap Tap Revenge …

… and he decided to give it a go. The game is similar to O2Jam, whereby you tap on the colour beats as they scroll down according to your music from the itunes library. After a few rounds, William dozed off and i was back again with my movie watching session and this time it was Jumper.

The view outside of the bus was barely limited to a couple of hundreds of meters as it was foggy. This was described in detail by Dolphin when she sms-ed saying the surroundings looked mysterious … like in the forest of Lord of the Rings. ROFL. OK the last part i made it up but it was definitely mysterious looking.

The best bit of the long winding journey was when the bus drove thru a town called Kemaman which i believed to be the place where Petronas refines or probably stock up petroleum and gas after retrieving it from the shores of Terengganu. The whole place was filled with fire blowing chimneys and i tell you, the sight of it was simply breath-taking. By the time i finally decided to take out my DSLR, the bus was already far from that place and i really regretted for not snapping at least one shot.

When we finally reached the bus station at Kuala Terengganu, we all had more than an hour to spare before the shuttle van ferries us to the jetty point. So after meeting up with the rest from Penang, we headed to a nearby 7-11 to get some light breakfast. While standing outside of 7-11 eating our maggi in cup, we all talked and got to know each other, especially to those who were meeting for the very first time. It was more like a short ice breaking session which turned out well, lol.

At about 7.30am, two vans appeared in front of the bus station and we were off to the jetty. The journey took about thirty minutes and that’s the only time where i actually dozed off -_-” Then upon reaching the jetty point, we all got into a boat and about 9am we were already on our way to Redang. The boat wasn’t particularly fast, probably because of the heavy load it had.

Everyone was excited. We just kept looking out of the window though there was nothing to see except sky and sea, even i couldn’t help but to look out. Then there’s some who were already telling what they intend to do once they got on the island, some decided to stay silence and enjoy the breeze which was blowing thru the side openings of the boat. You can just feel that everyone in that boat was excited and they can’t wait to let loose once they get onto that island

Daniel said recently that he hardly sees any shots with him in it. So here you go

The boat ride took about half an hour as well and we got off to a resort called the Redang Kalong, in short RK This resort is probably one of the best resorts for divers and also to those who would want old style kinda accomodation. More on that in future upcoming entries.

Until then, i shall recuperate as i am down with terrible headache, fever and flu. How convenient is that …? -_-”

Dunhill brought classical music to my ears

Just got back from Redang and i am still swaying around as though i am still at sea @_@

I was never a fan of classical music and i remembered how my dad used to play the cds that he got from Reader’s Digest and i would go bonkers. In fact at times i would show tantrums *the joy of being a kid* just to get the song changed or the cd player switched off.

But all that slowly changed and i started to appreciate classical music but not to the extend where i go gaga over it.

During my younger years i remembered how much time i wasted sitting in front of the tele box watching shows after shows on either tv1, tv2 o tv3. There’s one particular session where i definitely wouldn’t miss it for anything in the world and that’s the Dunhill Double BlockBuster. Every Thursday and Friday i will be glued to the tele watching what ever they had to offer and i tell you those movies were top notch, i mean for that time ler. It brought the world of time traveling to me and it made a strong impact that i even asked my dad why aren’t we going back in time when the speed of the car touched 88, lol. If you still haven’t got any clue what was i talking about, it’s Back to the Future. Besides that, Robocop was another one which i followed religiously.

So just like those movies, Dunhill brought Johann Strauss to my living room. I remembered vividly that it was shown for 4 weeks on every Thursday and Friday. After a quick check on wiki, i found out that it’s called “The Strauss Family” and it’s a seven part mini series. The storyline kept me on my toes for the whole month and that’s where i learned about sibling rivalry The song that caught my attention was composed by Johann Strauss II and it’s called The Blue Danube.

For some reason, i didn’t manage to video record it like what i did for Back to the Future and Robocop. The song was never heard again till a decade later when p2p was widely used and i somehow stumbled upon the song. To those who have no idea what the Blue Danube is, here’s a sample

Speaking of classical songs, a few weeks back i attended the Harp in French Music which was organized by the Penang State Symphony Orchestra & Chorus which was held at Dewan Seri Pinang. I didn’t manage to catch the first part of the show and had to stand at the entrance till that particular piece was finished.

Before the show, i was at the ferry point waiting for Dolphin to appear from the sea but because of rough currents, she took longer than expected. So while waiting, i got bored and started snapping random pictures at a nearby construction site.

Was suppose to go on a food hunt around Penang but time didn’t permit. We barely had half an hour before the show and we rushed to a nearby mamak stall to have dinner. Dolphin ordered their speciality which was torn roti canai with chopped chicken. It tasted something like scrambled murtabak, lol.

I on the other hand, ordered Garlic Naan and Chicken Tika. So filling our stomaches, we dashed off to the venue. When we reached there, the first part of the show was already on the way and no one was allowed to move around in the auditorium. The late comers had to wait at the entrance till that piece finished.

When we finally got in, we choose the sittings which wasn’t too far from the stage and waited for the show to restart as it went into an interval. The whole show lasted till 10pm and the arrangements of the songs were really ear pleasing. The only ‘potong stim’ part was the small kids running around in the middle of the show and one particular kid ran up and down the aisle i was sitting beside with a plastic bag. Now how annoying is that, with the sound of plastic bag being introduced into orchestra. They should ban all kids for this kinda show or simply cage them outside till their parents finally noticed that their kids were no where nearby. But overall the show was good and i would really look forward for more show like this in the near future. Futhermore the price of the tickets sold were reasonable. In fact, they even had student price.

After the show, we met up with some of the participants in the orchestra itself. Dolphin met up with her coursemates and friends

Chen Seng and Stefan so happened to be my ex-schoolmates and they both were in the orchestra

This Sunday will be meeting up with ‘the Gayaz’ for Beauty and the Beast Musical @ KLPac. Anyone out there going ?

Many moons back, my friends and i tried a new trend in spa which is Fish Spa. All you have to do is dip both your legs in the water and the next thing you know, fishes will be nibbling your feet and it’s really ticklish. Some patrons go to the extend of laughing out loud

They even have the full body fish spa whereby you submerge your whole body in a tank filled with these cute little fishes.

Project-T: Ho Liao Team Strikes Back

Finally EURO2008 is here !!! And i am pretty sure there’s gonna be lots of people going to work or even class with panda eyes or maybe skip it all together if they have the chance. During these games, people usually gather around at mamak stalls but i on the other hand rather watch it at home with a bunch of friends and Mister Potato in my hands. This definitely doesn’t sound like me at all but trust me that’s what i do most of the time. With the hike of petrol price, watching at home definitely is the better choice and i won’t be surprised if price of mamak food does increase anytime soon.

For most of the time, i would have 2-3packets of Mister Potato for a match. Hahaha i do eat like a wood chipper when it comes to potato chips >_<” and it’s all the better since Mister Potato is currently having a competition for those who collects the most seals or pouches. These seals and pouches are then exchanged into football points where you can redeem prizes later on. And the prizes are eye poppingly crazy !

For the 30 top football points collector, they will receive a Total Football Tour at Manchester, England ! This includes the Stadium and Museum and it’s worth RM 15000 ! @_@ So stim can.

Besides that, there are also monthly prizes to be given away which are autographed football jerseys. So this doesn’t just limit to Manchester United fans, you can also win a Liverpool or even a Chelsea jersey

Recently i have been chosen to be part of Project-T and my group, Group Ho Liao had to come out with an idea on how we could get a lot of pouches and seals to stand a chance to win the trip to Manchester. The ideas that we brain stormed are then assigned to each individual and come out with a short video. Knowing that we are scattered around Malaysia and will not be able to appear all together in a video, we decided to have a packet of Mister Potato as our link.

It starts off with our Ho Liao boss, KY giving ‘blessings’ for us to start the video, hahaha. Okok the real deal was Muzaffar *another Ho Liao boss* wanted to know how could he win the trip to Old Trafford and KY will explain to him with the help of his 5 Ho Liao members *coughs* Thomas comes in with his brilliant idea which was to go on a Mister Potato diet. By doing so, he would be able to consume more Mister Potato and collect more pouches or seals. The funny thing is, Thomas is already sooooooo THIN ! Hahahah. Now that, i can’t wait to see Kevin on the other hand was gonna do it the old fashion way, which is to steal Mister Potato. Not one but a few Mister Potato. I mean when you steal also must think BIG and going for one would be ‘potong stim’. While trying to escape, he stumbles upon someone whom he knows and that would be the climax Foong’s idea was her son demanding Mister Potato, hahaha. Wouldn’t that be easy for her ? LOL just wait for her son to finish one pouch by one pouch and in no time she’ll be flying off to Manchester. Debra …. where do i even begin with her idea hahahaha. Just like a kissing booth whereby you pay to be kissed, Debra will be going on dates in exchange for Mister Potato, lololololol. Obviously one pouch isn’t gonna do the trick, so it depends on how much the date is willing to offer … And finally me …. >_<”

Yes yes PHOTOCOPY @_@ *KY i am so gonna strangle you for this idea* I am gonna photocopy the pouches and seals in hope of getting myself to Manchester. LOL

A few weeks backs when i met up with HungWei, Aaron and Hugo ….. and not forgetting Dolphin who appeared out of thin air, i realized in that few hours alone, HungWei had many expressions and fortunately, most emotions shown were captured on my camera LOL
