A short getaway to Laos

Every trip we ever had were all planned at least 8 to 12 months ahead. But buying the flight tickets has been rather spontaneous. Of course we would see if it’s feasible in the first place, especially now that we are planning for our big day. We never had Laos in our main traveling list. We couldn’t get the Vietnam tickets at the ever so cheap Airasia promos and so we opted for Laos. I have to admit that the last few trips never got my fullest attention because of work. Ever since I shifted back to Penang, the focus has been my work. I am just not in my usual environment where I can be fiddling with machines and equipments that are rarely seen out of a lab. Laos is similar to Cambodia and Thailand but more laid back. Emails took forever to be replied and in the end I took the chance of walking in rather than booking prior to the trip. Chronicles of Cambodia 4: Tonle Sap Siem Reap

Ming was eliminated in the final elimination of Malaysian Dream Girl and next friday would be the Finale. I was also at the final photoshoot where the girls finally had what they wanted; a male model named Ricardo. LOL – - – To those who realized i blogged about the first day on Siem Reap, lol you are sharp and that simply shows i am freaking aging -_-! Anyway the next morning was mainly on Tonle Sap. Initially we were suppose to take a ferry from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap via the Tonle Sap lake but after realizing that it would cost a whooping 40USD per person, we scrapped the idea and took bus instead. Jasmine’s Lodge does provide us complimentary breakfast everyday and though it was just a simple one, i really missed eating their bread and egg. And at the same time franctically waiting for a place to sit Hmmm the picture is blur for a reason. Not too sure where did i even focus.
