It has been a while since i have updated my blog but trust me, i have tonnes to write and i am just waiting to get back to KL to do so. In Penang, i am always busy doing chores or busy sleeping >.<!

With Apple launching the new iPhone 3GS, Macbook Aluminium joins the MacBook Pro family and also Snow Leopard, my car too had an update. A safety update to be precise. After a few days without my car, i finally got the call from Perodua saying it’s finally ready !

This time around, i changed quite a number of things since it has just surpassed 180k km and the damage was slightly less than a thousand. On top of that, Perodua finally fitted my car with rear seatbelts

My car wasn’t fitted with rear seatbelts nor does it have points to fix them. So Perodua took slightly longer to get it done but it was definitely worth the wait since KL would take ages to get it done.

A sticker is placed in case police were to flag me down to check if it has been certified by Perodua

Upon getting my car, my parents told that within the 2 weeks i brought my car back, 3 people have offered to buy my car. All of them offered around the same amount which was about 28k and that’s more than half the amount we paid for my 7 year old car. Parents are contemplating to sell off and probably get something else, like maybe a Saga. Hmmmm

On the side note, my mum asked if my phone could be tracked down via gps and after experimenting with a few programs, this is what i got …

It shows the whereabouts of me today but i didn’t leave it on all the time as my battery was low. If not the speed of my car will even be registered and all this was viewable by one click on my iMac at home >.<! LOL

I know a few of you have been bugging with me for photos from Tenji …

… hehehe i will be posting them soon. Before this weekend hopefully

On the way to the Curve, William asked if i could feel his rear left wheel wobbling and i said yes but it wasn’t that obvious unless if i wasn’t been told about. So the assumption was his car needs allignment.

But we thought wrong and on the way back from the Curve the inevitable happened …

The tyre blew and the next thing we knew, we were on the side of LDP just before Western Digital. The last time i encountered a ‘phailed’ tyre was with Bernard and all we did was called up David, LOL. But this time around William single handedly change it himself. Steven, Jess and I just stood there like dodo birds, hahaha.

Probably William was trying to show his macho-ness …

William insisted that he should be photographed. So that’s what i did … i whipped out my handphone, snapped a couple of shots and mms-ed to a bunch of people @_@

We were stranded for barely half an hour before moving again.

Moral of the story: Please please check/service all tyres and not only the front pair and please, if you noticed that the tyre is getting bald, change it -_-”

P/P/S: I received a comment not too long back and i thought it was worth adding it to the entry as everyone should know the danger of changing tyre on a highway or even a normal trunk road. Thank you anonymous

What you did was very dangerous. Many people have died from what you guys did. You should never change a tyre on the highway, not even on the emergency lane. A car or another vehicle travelling at high speed would hit you.

The advisable thing to do was to continue driving (even if it means destroying your wheel/tyre) off the highway to a safe location, then only change your tyre. At least you gain a life.

I was on my way back to Cyberjaya when i decided to floor the accelerator of my car. The road was an alternative route and it’s usually empty especially close to midnight. Just as my car was accelerating up the hill, i saw blue and red lights flashing. My eyes literally popped out and i stopped chewing my gum.

I slowed down my car as i approached the road block …

… just that very afternoon my mum called to say that one of my nuffnang cheques was already cashed in and i was thinking, well there goes that money -_-” …

Police: Lesen dan IC ( license and identification card) …

I handed over to the officer while i tried to give those pitiful look ala Puss in Boots from Shrek -_-” which obviously failed big time when i knew i was speeding like a donkey.

Police: Kenapa tak diberi nama Johnny ke …? (Why weren’t you given the name like Johnny?)
Me: Eheheheheh *giving those dumb grins*
Police: Siapa bagi nama kamu ini ? (Who gave you this name ?)
Me: Bapa saya (My dad) swt
Police: Bapa bagi ??? Bila kamu ini balik kampung nanti, pergi marah bapa. Tanya kenapa tak diberi nama macam Johnny … (You dad gave ? When you are back at home, scold your dad. Ask him why weren’t you given the name like Johnny)
Me: Ehehehehehe *dumb grin routine again*

He returned my IC and my licence and i drove off

For the first time, instead of cursing while driving back i actually smiled

So as how my sister was let go because she’s a doctor or rather soon to be doctor, i got off because the policeman simply didn’t like my name -_-”

As for the record, the policeman that spoke to me was a very nice fella and just kept cracking jokes while talking to me. I guess it’s very rare to come across such situation

Moral of the story ? Have a name like mine and not Johnny …

Yesterday was definitely an unusual day. After having lunch with my family we headed home, just to find out that our car porch had a kitten running around. My dad asked me and my brothers to bring it out since we were gonna wash the cars that evening.

We did the usual which is stomp the foot to scare away the kitty.

That didn’t work and it ran under the car and disappeared …

… so I got the keys to the car and opened the bonet.

This would be a great ad for toyota

I tried to grab it but it ran deeper into the engine bay -_-”

Then one of my brothers alerted me that it’s near the suspension. We tried luring it out but it made matters worst. The kitty was gone again … it went some where deeper.

I pulled out the water hose and sprayed below the car hoping it would scare the kitty which it did.

It got out of the engine bay and all three of us chased it out but the kitty just wouldn’t leave the place.

It ran to the next car and jump into the engine bay!

What’s with kitty and engines ? -_-”

I opened the bonet and there it was.

It tried to run away again.

It went even deeper and then it got stuck and started purr-ing non stop.

We got the torch light and to our surprise …

There were more kitties —-___—–” and they were all stuck in the same place.

I wasn’t sure how many were there. One of the kitties went into ‘defensive mode’ when i tried to pull it out; it started hissing.

Not wanting to risk my hand from kitty bite or kitty scratch, i sprayed water till the kitty stopped hissing and i pulled them one by one

This was the feisty little fella who just couldn’t stop hissing.

And this was the trouble maker that ran from car to car in the beginning.

This poor little kitty tried to escape when i was trying to pull it out of the engine. Unfortunately it got stuck between the grill of my front door. It ran off once i freed the grill.

Finally the most obedient one. Never had any trouble removing this kitty. Actually there was one more but it ran off outside and got into my mum’s car. I couldn’t be bothered cause yesterday’s weather was scrotching hot ! So in total there were five kitties in the engine bay.

Kitties nowadays are getting pretty wild

Couldn’t imagine what will happen if one of us did use the car that day.
