The past few years i have been fortunate enough to find myself among the fans in the grandstand and last year, i was invited by Bernard. In 2009, Jenson Button and Brawn GP were making all the headlines in F1. Already being ditched by Honda before the 2009 season even started, no one, no one expected them to be in the position that they were at by the end of the season.

The Sepang Circuit notoriously known for it’s crazy weather change lived up to it’s nickname as the Hottest and Wettest F1 race amongst the circuit. You could have a blazing hot sun at the beginning of the race and a heavy downpour to end the race in style.

Having the race in the month of April which is the month where the wind changes around South East Asia, heavy downpour are very unpredictable, thus playing an important part in the race in terms of tires being used. I could remember how Ferrari were stuck with 2 cars in the pits years ago to change to wet tires but Schuey eventually won the race.

When we arrived, the cars were already on their warm up lap and we rushed to our seats. People have always asked if it’s worth watching F1 on the tv and being there itself. I have been to the hillstands once and it definitely doesn’t beat being at the grandstands. I mean of course with the higher price you are ought to get a better experience.

Right across my seat was Jenson’s pit and i can tell you that everyone’s eyes were locked on that team. Probably waiting to see if any mistakes were to be made by this underdog team. At this time of the season, Jenson was already leading the drivers by a considerable amount of points and he was definitely the person to beat.

Only a handful were rooted to their seats, probably because their teams aren’t performing well. As for the rest, they stood throughout the race. I managed to get the first row of seats so i needn’t have to stand. In the far distance in the picture above, you could see the hillstand but trust me, when you are seated there you are most definitely gonna rely on their big screens to show what was happening in the other turns. If only they can project the commentators’ voice, then it would be better imho.

Some fans even purchased this particular handheld device which would show live updates on the positions of each driver. This is definitely for the super hardcore fans. I being cash strap, relied on seeing who passes the line each lap, lol. There’s even headphones which beams the commentators voice to you and it looks similar to the headphones the Pit Lane managers wear all the time.

Besides asking whether to watch on tv or attend the race is better, the other question people ask is why waste money to watch a car that zooms by within a few seconds?

The first time i had the chance to be at the grandstand thanks to Toyota, i didn’t know what to expect and how would it be different from watching it on TV. All i can say the SOUND, the SOUND was bloody deafening ! When each car leaves the pits, it’s like a jet fighter taking off. The sound from the engine itself was a reason for any car/F1/motor enthusiast to be there. This is where the earbuds come in handy. Speaking of earbuds, it’s best if you bring on your own or be prepared to fork out RM10 for a pair of coloured sponge.

Ten to fifteen minutes into the race, dark clouds seem to be hovering over the circuit and pit crews were seen scrambling for wet tires. The safety car was on standby. The fans all stood up, waiting for the moment the flood gates from the sky opened. It grew darker and darker and without any proper lighting around the circuit, it was obvious that drivers didn’t go out all max.

The foreigners beside me said that all four of them traveled all the way to Malaysia to watch this race simply because they love the chaotic weather.

Before you know it, it started pouring and the fella beside me yelled,” This is what i am talking man !” Hahaha, i have never seen anyone who was this happy when it rained during the race. In fact all four of them cheered louder than ever.

Jenson Button was leading the race before it got too dark. The drains had a hard time coping with the amount of water thus filling the roads with water here and there.

The stewards decided to restart the race from the grid and everyone took their spots again. This was probably the most chaotic race ever. Pit crews scrambled to the grids to cover their cars and drivers. No one knew what was gonna happen next as we all waited for the rain to stop.

After waiting for a while, it was announced that the race was to be stopped and drivers at the current position would be result of the race. And that gave Jenson Button another win in his bag. The whole race took about half an hour, that’s right 30minutes ! LOL. I think Bernard and i took longer to find a carpark than the whole race itself. Nevertheless it was one unforgettable experience.

For this season, 2010, F1 is definitely gonna be more exciting. Drivers have swapped teams, new teams like Lotus F1 and Virgin F1 are in the fray as well and lastly the return of Michael Schumacher! Not with Ferrari but with Mercedes GP. I wonder how would he fair throughout the season

Of course most Malaysians would have their attention on Lotus F1 as it’s spearheaded by Tony Fernandez himself. Always admired how he has built AirAsia to what it is today. Besides that, having Petronas being one of the main sponsors for Mercedes GP, one wouldn’t have imagined a few years back to see Michael Schumacher in a suit that bears the name Petronas !

Ferrari is currently leading the pack after one race with Alonso displaying what made him the champion a few years back. Partnering him would be Felipe Massa who returns after a horrific accident last season. McLaren finally unites a pair of British drivers, last seasons champion Jenson Button and another past champion Lewis Hamilton. The idea of having 4 champions in a race is definitely mouth watering ! Can’t wait for them to be in Sepang F1 Circuit this April 2nd, 3rd and 4th !

This entry has been long over due, lol. First of all, i wanna thank Malaysia Airlines for the invite and also not forgetting Jonathan for organizing this event

I was fortunate enough to experience what is it like or rather what does it take to be a cabin crew in an airline, specifically MAS. If you didn’t know MAS has been named Skytrax’s World’s Best Cabin Staff this year and that has totalled up to 6 times. Definitely not an easy feat.

Upon arrival, i thought i was the first one because i saw no one in the hall but just to find out that everyone was at the cafetaria having breakfast.

It was after 20 minutes or so that the program started.

We were briefed ala lecture class style on how and what levels are there to go thru to become a MAS Cabin Crew. Every candidate will be sieved thoroughly as there’s of course a certain standard that has to be maintained. MAS doesn’t get the award for Best Cabin Crew for no reason you see.

Some of us even offered ourselves to be Cabin Crew, lol. Taking advantage of the oppurtunity since all the top people were in the room.

We were then ushered to the next part which was the beautification section. This is where the air stewardess were given simply lesson on how to do the trademark hairstyle and makeup under 10 minutes. Some of us didn’t really believe that one could look anything like the stewardess under 10 minutes. Girls generally take at least 3 years 30 minutes or more to get themselves ready especially when it involves make up.

To prove that only 10 minutes was needed, Elena has the chance to be used as the subject.

After learning how to beautify one’s self, the cabin crew would also be taught on grooming and how to carry yourself in public.

Here we were shown the signature kebaya uniform that is worn by the air stewardess. With the slit running higher than normal kebaya, the girls were showed how to walk so that nothing is exposed.

William then volunteered to the catwalk. He should have put on the kebaya and walked, just to recreate the scenario, lol !

Besides looking good and gorgeous, the cabin crew would have to know simple first aid. Ok maybe not simple first aid but they would have to be able to handle medical situations until a doctor or paramedics are on the scene.

All cabin crews would have to attend mandatory first aid courses every now and then. This is a good way to make sure everyone has the latest info on how to save the passenger’s life and also a good time to learn up on new medical equipments which are fitted on the aircrafts.

This was probably the best part and the only place where it was photographed the most ! …. the cabin service trainers.

All replicas of the classes of different MAS aircrafts are located here. Economy class, Business class, First class were all there. Even the 747 Jumbo was there for us to explore.

After fooling about in the first class of 747 Jumbo, we were asked to get ready for their simulation emergency session and we had to sign a release form to make sure we can’t sue them for any mishaps

We then wore their safety suit before entering the simulation aircraft.

While seated they told us to listen to the instructions of the cabin crew when the simulation is in progress. As part of the exercise 5 of us were chose to represent the disable and i was one of them.

At first i declined cause i know how heavy  i am -_-! and i wouldn’t want any of the air stewardess to struggle offloading a cow of the aircraft but later on the air stewardess said no worries and she can handle me.

I was strictly asked to remain in my seat and not move a muscle as though i am paralyzed.

Surprisingly, she carried me !

*respect respect respect*

With the help of another person, i was positioned properly on the slide with her being behind me …

… and down I went XD

Upon landing, i thought i could just walk off but i was instructed by the instructors not to move a muscle and let the air stewardess do the work.

At this point, i was already feeling very bad for her.

The air stewardess was then helped by her co worker to move me to the side but she ermmm accidently pressed my collar bone which is one of the few sensitive areas and i started laughing my head. That resulted to me falling off her grip, making a cow fall on her leg T.T

This simulation was mainly to see how fast the passengers were evacuated using the emergency slide.

So what happens if the aircraft makes an emergency landing on water ?

Just like first aid, cabin crews will have to take refreshing course on emergency landing on water. Here they would have to swim in full uniform giving them the actual feel if it did happen. They will shower first before starting the exercise.

A swimming instructor will be there to monitor the progress of each and every cabin crew to make sure they can at least do the basic.

“Swim people, swim !”, the instructor yelled.

Most of us never seen such exercise before, i mean none of us expected the cabin crew to be fully clothed in their uniforms with hairdos and all to jump into the pool. So we did the next best thing, we snap snap snap

After swimming 2 laps, the cabin crew were then instructed to swim to the middle of the pool and create a circle. This is done to create attention for any planes that are passing by. Besides that, if it’s cold they will draw closer to contain heat among themselves.

A super large safety raft was then brought to the pool.

“Any of you want to be in it ?” the instructor asked us.

Next thing you know, i am already in the life raft. The instructor then told us what was gonna happen which was, the life raft will be pushed to the middle and the cabin crew would have to climb in. We, under no circumstances should help any of them. Emilio helped me to take my photos while i was on the raft, thanks a lot !

… and that exercise begun.

Then we had to pedal with our hands to the other side.

All in all, i had a great time and seriously learnt alot and it’s definitely not ‘kacang putih’ to be a cabin crew. Its easily shown why MAS has been winning the award as Best Cabin Staff for a record 6 times.

There i was at the gate waiting for someone let me in and after ringing the bell a few times, her father walked towards the gate with a rotan. I was thinking i was about to get some butt-whipping but it was used on Husky, their dog. After chasing Husky to his corner, i breezed through the porch and into the hall.

As i waited patiently for her to dress up *she did this on purpose so i would have some time spent with either her parents*, her father joined me in the hall.

I never felt so nervous and knowing that i can talk just about anything to anyone, i didn’t know why i felt i had a lock-jaw >.<!

My first impression was obviously important and so i did strike a topic to break the silence.

So uncle how was your Japan trip ?

It was good good, you should go there one day

… and that’s as good as it gets. I thought i started out well but for some reason the following replies just didn’t suit the situation at that very moment.

Ermmm so how did Husky do?

Who ?

Ermmmm Husky … your dog ? *felt like banging my head against the tea table in front of me for asking such a question*

Oh Husky, ermmm he did well when we were away.

It was very ….. He was sent to a dog center nearby ? *Probably by now her father must be thinking why don’t i have anything else to talk about*

Oh Husky, he was here all the while. We had someone to come over to look out for him as well as feed.

He seems to be barking a lot *i dunno what made me say that ridiculous sentence, sigh*

Just as i was trying to to gasp for some air because i was literally drowning in a lame conversation which i started, her mum appeared. I stood up to say hello but her mum bowed at me. I am not sure if my name did confused her or probably the Japan trip did leave a small impact in her.

… yes i bowed as well.

Damn awkward.

Probably her father would be thinking i am not just lame but mad as well.

Finally she came down.

I was closed to strangling her for leaving me in the hall for so long but of course that wouldn’t happen >.<!

As we left in my car, her parents would be pitying their daughter for going out with me. Hahaha. Of course it didn’t happen again and that was so many moons ago. Can’t believe i spoke only about her pet dog and nothing else. How embarrassing. Probably i was trying too hard >.<!

I have been updating less and less on my blog because i am just too tied up with my thesis writing as well as Malaysian Dream Girl, lol. The ridiculously slow internet connection just isn’t helping either.

Anyway i finally got my photogallery up and in order after neglecting it for more than a year. Revamped it and deleted lots and lots of album after i decided to change hosting company.

I have been asked to post whatever i have taken at any Malaysian Dream Girl session and i actually did. It’s all in the gallery. But be warned, none of the pictures there are edited. I just don’t have the time to edit one by one, further more my notebook just doesn’t cut it when it comes to having my Photoshop, iTunes, Firefox and all messengers running at the same time.

P/S: Has anyone watched America’s Best Dance Crew Season 3 ?????? Quest was simply AWESOME. Who needs So You Think You Can Dance with moves like that, hahaha. Of course those with ballroom dancing taste, So You Think You Can Dance would be ideal. But to those who loves hip hop, B-boy kinda moves, America’s Best Dance Crew is definite one to watch !

I just got back from probably one of the easiest paper i have sat so far and i am no where satisfied. It all started off with me leaving like ten minutes before the paper is suppose to start. I reached the building and started scouting for the examination room that i am should be in

” Well it states in this paper, the venue is room 0001″, i murmured to myself.

Then i came to room 0008 and walked down the corridor, counting down to the numbers stated above the doors.

I panicked.

So i ran to a nearby guard and asked him.

“Have you tried looking outside of the building ?”, he asked me

@_____@! Outside ?

I thought to myself this fella is either high on glue or probably haven’t had enough sleep. I told him it’s ok and walked off. Feeling bad, he called me and said maybe it’s upstairs.

“But if it’s upstairs then it will start will like 1001, 1002, etc,” i replied.

Yet i ended up walking on the upper floors just for the benefit of doubt finding for this room. I was desperate. All the floors, the rooms ends at 3 …. 2003, 3003, 4003.

Where in the world is room 0001 ????

It was already 10 minutes past nine and i have 20 more minutes before they seal the doors and out of desperation, i switched on my phone and called my friend and asked if she has any clue. Then i was told it could be in another building at the far end.

I was like WTF ?

… and so i ran. I never ran so fast before …. especially in a pair of jeans -_-!

I reached the room sharp at 9.20am, panting, sweating and i felt like stabbing the first person i saw @_@! Sigh it was definitely a painful lesson and i really thought i was done for -_-!

Everyone stared at me … the lecturer, the moderator, my classmates.

If my mother reads this, i am definitely in for a slap, when i am back home for Chinese New Year.

I am finally back!

Well let me say that i am very excited to see what 2009  have installed for me. In slightly more than a week from now, i will be off to Cambodia for 6 days with 6 friends of mine and that is definitely gonna  have me missing  from my blog yet again.

The idea of Cambodia was first conceived when i was strolling about on the sandy beach of Redang Island after a crazy day at Nipple Island. Initially, in the morning, i received a call from my mum saying i had cheques from Nuffnang and that she had already banked it in. Knowing i had extra cash in hand, i jokingly asked William and Angeline, …

“Come let’s go Cambodia ….”

William was fast to say he was in. I can’t even be sure if he even took time to think

Angeline on the hand took probably a few seconds longer before agreeing to join the bandwagon …

… and that’s how things got rolling. One by one the rest joined in, Lee May, Aaron, Ai Ling and Emily. I am excited, everyone is excited cause no one knows what is gonna happen as our plans are kinda sketchy. Keeping our fingers crossed that everything goes as planned

Personally i am definitely happy with how Nuffnang has changed the blogosphere especially in Malaysia (… and also in the other countries that they are invading). Thanks to them, i have the extra moolah which enabled me to get my flight tickets to Cambodia.

On the side note, also related to Nuffnang, this coming Saturday would be the auditions of Malaysian Dream Girls in Kuala Lumpur which is also the final audition for this season.

Merry New Year everyone !

P/S: I just realized my last entry was written last year >.<! LOL

That’s practically the first thing that pops up in my head. Crocs are just overpriced pieces of plastic especially in Malaysia compared to the US. I never even considered owning a pair till i spoke to my dad on the phone the other day.

I told him i heard Crocs will be having year end sales and i asked if it was worth getting since he has a pair of Crocs slippers.

You see, the main problem i have with Crocs besides their daylight-robbery-price-tags are their designs. I am not saying all their designs are awful but majority are. And i would rather spend on something else than to pay so much to look weird.

Back to my dad, he told me to have a look and get a pair if possible cause the pasar-malam slippers i have been getting all these years are just in baddd, i mean really baddddddddddd when it comes to walking on cement. There’s just no grip.

After double checking the address from Jolene’s blog, i headed off towards Subang airport and arrived about 4.30pm.

It wasn’t any fancy warehouse sale like those i have been in Bangsar, etc but rather a canopy was raised in the middle of a lorong (side lane) and that’s about it. In the middle of the covered area were boxes and boxes of Crocs, ranging from shoes to slippers to bags, for both men and women. There was nothing much to choose from cause i was already late when i arrived. But thankfully large sizes were abundance and i am talking about 11, 12, 13.

I walked around and tried a few just to make sure the money i am spending is worth it though the price were slashed by half.

… and after convincing myself that i don’t look ugly in the above shown slippers, i got myself a pair and happily paid. The actual price of the item is RM 169 -_-!

Though this is being organized by Penang Medical Supply or PMS in short, rofl, i wasn’t too sure if Penang is having anything like this in KL. Anyone has any idea ?

Well that’s what one Singaporean lady told me when i was queueing at Burger King for my lunch. I was actually at Singapore Expo that particular day and since it was lunch hour, i thought of giving Burger King a try since they do serve pork compared to Malaysia.

So as i was lining up, i took my wallet off to reach for a ten dollar bill. I was scanning through the notes until i came to an orangish, yellowish bill. As i pulled it out my eyes grew larger and larger till it clearly showed …

“$10 – Sepuluh Ringgit Negara Brunei”

I was like goodness gracious, where’s the 10 dollar Sing that was suppose to be there.

My reaction was so noticable that a lady on the next queue patted my shoulder and said not to worry, the value is the same as Singaporean Dollar.

I sighed in relief and said, “Really ? That was a close call.”

LOL

Then i was given a brief history lesson about currencies by this lady

Once upon a time, when your parents were still in their teens …. (ok i made that up). Many decades ago, when Malaysia was just formed, Malaysia, Brunei and Singapore had this agreement that their currencies can be used in each other’s country. Malaysian Ringgit had the same value as Singaporean Dollar and so with Brunei’s currency.

OOooooo, i didn’t know that.

Yeap but later on the value of the Ringgit dropped and the agreement was void or something like that. But as for Brunei and Singapore, we still do practise this especially in bigger shops. I am not sure if Sundry shops would accept.

To be frank, i never knew about this till this lady explained. When i was back at home, i told my parents about it since they have been going to Singapore quite often and they thought i knew about this I have been going to Singapore as often as going to KL in my younger years, simply because most of my aunts and uncle are residing there. But this incident never came across me at any point of time.

I guess I learned more when i have to fork out my own money rather then relying on FAMA (Father’s And Mother’s Account)

So to those out there, who didn’t know about this …. well now you know

I am finally back … back in the blogging world, LOL. I have so much to write but so little time to do so. When i eventually have the time, i am either hibernating like a bear or in front of my tv. Can’t wait to get back to track with all my work being piled up every since Deepavali. Speaking of Deepavali, my parents got back from Japan on Deepavali’s day itself and YES they got me another Hard Rock Cafe shirt, hahahaha. In my previous entry i did mention that i was hoping for something else, i mean it’s Japan for heaven’s sake. An Aibo would be good enough or even a PS3 but nooooooo, i got a shirt instead. Not one but 3 shirts, hahahaha. Anyway i am happy with the shirts, i was actually expecting nothing judging from their tight schedule.

The second week i had much more time for myself, so much so that i lost track on the dates of the 2 things that i was really looking out during this break. One was my Singapore trip and the other was Genting Trailblazer. Earlier i thought i would be in Singapore first before heading to KL for Genting Trailblazer which was wrong and it was the other way round -_-”

Knowing this at the last minute, i had to find transport to KL cause flight tickets would cost a bomb especially booking it less than a week from the date of departure. ChenSeng aka ItchyHandSeng was kind enough to give a lift. But that lift lasted from my house to his house and not to KL @_@!

Angeline aka Dolphin also tagged along. On the way we stopped at Autocity for early dinner and the food was terrible. We carried on from there on and reached by 11pm.

On the day, we left for Genting, Zila was kind enough to use her car to ferry us up. Upon reaching we were greeted with millions of goodie bags …

…. ok maybe not millions but it was really a lot. After collecting our goodie bags and room keys, we went to check out our rooms. We didn’t expect the room to come with 2 queen size beds. It was seriously big and it was a bargain for the price we paid.

William and i were given the number D40 If you can see the cards on the shirt, it’s actually a holiday card which has a value of RM50 in it and we were free to use it at any shops or stalls that accepted it. William and i combined together with Zila and Ida, so we had RM100 to burn on that day. Oh i forgot to mention that we arrived a day before the challenge itself.

Thinking what can we do with 100 bucks, we roamed around Awana to do things that we wouldn’t usually do, or probably too kiam siap to spend on it.

We went to enquire about golf and decided to get 200 balls. If you didn’t know that’s Ida at the front left with Zila behind her and Dolphin showing her Qi Gong moves, hahahaaha.

To be frank, i have never actually played golf before and tee-ing to the driving range was hard, i mean REALLY HARD. I kept slamming clubs on the cement ground and it hurt my hands like hell.

Don’t be fooled by the picture above, hahaha. The balls never passed the 100 yards mark. Ok except William who kept slamming the ball into the trees for no reason and that was like how many yards ? 400? 500 ?

We then adjourned to the Squash courts and played a few rounds before tiring ourselves with a game of ping pong. Yes we did all these the day before the trailblazer -_-! LOL

Trying to finish the prepaid holiday card as fast as possible, we opted to get ourselves Baskin Robbins. Dolphin and Zila took Tiramisu and Cheese cake respectively. We decided to keep the balance for another round of Baskins on the next day

Before going to the rooms to wash up for dinner, we roamed around to camwhored

Dinner wasn’t something to shout about for RM 42++ i was expecting something better than what was served but then again, we were at Genting and things are definitely more expensive.

The next morning …

Before i go any further, i want to say that i have no pictures, i repeat NO PICTURES during the course of the race I noticed so many participants carried their Olympus around and i was jealous. hahaha.

It was slighty damp that morning and it started to drizzle as we marched to the starting point. There we were told the do’s and the dont’s but the most interesting part was the warm up session. It was conducted by Fitness First and it was seriously fun. Fun in a way to grab people’s attention but not good enough to warm up the body. Personally i thought it was too brief. After a couple of speeches and tree planting ceremony, we were let off like wild cows. The first couple of kilometres were basically running round the golf course before heading into the jungle.

I didn’t really like running round the golf course, so i walked and jogged for most of the part. It was very scenic and the surrounding looked refreshing especially after a light shower. When i saw the route leading towards the jungle, i just went hysterical and i was dying to get it.

Just as i stepped into the genting hutan, i had a hard time getting a gripped with my new el-cheapo shoes. Knowing that the shoes are gonna be covered in mud prior to the race, i deciced to get myself those bad ass black bata shoes. I couldn’t risk my Nike shoes, lol. To cut short, it was a bad move. I should have gotten those cheap sports shoes in carrefour instead -_-!

… so through out the jungle i was skating. Not literally but actually skating. I looked like a cow on roller blades trying to balance thru the jungle -_-” William on the hand got himself a pair of crocs and ran like a monkey deer. He would disappear from my sight within minutes and i had to skate even faster to catch up. His crocs was so distracting that almost everyone noticed his shoes.

One even stopped and asked …

“Eh you are from Crocs is it ? Promoting some more”

“Hahaha no ler … “

Knowing that i was gonna be slightly slower, i took the liberty of helping the ladies with some parts of the jungle. I am sorry i meant elderly ladies who were in the oldies catergory. Hehehe. It was really fun seeing each other helping out cross certain terrain or obstacle.

It was like one big happy family …

… except for a handful who just steamed off like bulls not worrying about their lives.

If skating thru the jungle was bad enough,  my jaw dropped down when we reached the first obstacle which was to climb down a slope which was like 80 degrees i think. Everyone who reached there gave this look …

Similar slopes came by again and some we had to climb upwards. It was defintely a challenge but it’s fun.

William and i lost track of time after a while and we started to crave for KFC. I told him i can’t wait to get my hands on the 3 piece chicken and he couldn’t agree more

We finally reached a small river and i tell you the water was fishing cold ! We sat there and dipped ourselves in it. After a while we decided to hang on and wait for Ida and Zila to join us. After twenty minutes or so, we saw no sign of them and carried on.

From there on, it was mostly uphill and i have to stress this, DON’T FORGET YOUR GLOVES! Grrrrr. I left our gloves in my bag and i relied on leaves whenever i was climbing upwards. The shoes were crap. There wasn’t much grip and i dug my foot right into the muddy surface to get some proper grip. Obviously this took up more time and energy.

“Sikit lagi, pergi atas sana dah sampai”

That’s what most of the marshalls said, LOL. It definitely gave the needed boost before being followied by a big disappointment that there’s more to come

Along the way we found many lost souls i mean lost soles. Shoe soles to be precise. I am not talking about one or two …. but there were manyyyyyyy. At one point we even spotted a pair of Nike shoes. Not the soles alone but the whole shoe itself. Seriously ganas.

After more than two hours plus, we reached the final river and that’s where we stopped and waited again for Ida and Zila. We dipped ourselves in the cold water and enjoyed watching the rest climbing up vertically. We waited there cause the line was considerably long and further more we wanted the two girls to join us. Here’s another tip …

… dont ever dip yourselves in the cold water. Why ? cause it doesn’t do any good to your muscles except shrinking it and making it even harder to move around -_-!

After half and hour or more the girls were not to be seen and we decided to carry on. We were already out of water and we needed to get to the water check point asap. It was all the way up again and was stopping every now and then to catch my breath. Then it came to a point where i just sat down and didn’t move until i heard an elderly man said, the water check point is up here. A sudden surge of energy kicked in and the cow on roller blades skated towards the so called finishing line, hahahaha. Water never tasted so good and gulped down a couple of cups before carrying on.

The sound of the PA system was definitely a positive one as we know we were getting closer and closer.

Finally with my very own eyes i could see the tents, people, civilization … and just when i was about to walk to that direction, William said …

“Eh there’s an arrow pointing the other side. We need to climb up the hill and come down that way”

At that point i wanted to scream but i just stood there staring and thinking …

“Why… whyyyyyyyyyy”

A man in his early 30s cameby and told me …

“Eh come come, a bit more only. You already reached all the way here, try to finish it”

… and so i carried on walking for another ten minutes or so.

We finally reached the finishing line and we saw a booth giving out free bihun and i dashed living William behind. Yeap that was the first time i actually ran faster than him. Hahahaha. The bihun, just like the water tasted sooooooo goooooooooood.

Ida and Zila were no where to be seen and so we went back first to wash up. Dolphin was waiting for us in the room and she was dead worried when we took longer to reach. William washed up and went off to find the girls and after an hour or so, they finally reached

We quickly packed our things and went to the cafe to get ourselves Baskin Robbins and cakes again before departing. Upon leaving we found out we still had balance. So we dabao nachos and ate along the way back.

I knocked off once we reached the Karak highway.

The experience i had was really abundance and given the chance i would do it all over again. But this time with better shoes and gloves and of course being fit

I took very long to update this entry is because i was too busy shifting things from my old house to the new house. Once i got everything done, i started typing but i didn’t have enough time to finish it.

So here i am blogging on the bus as i am heading towards Singapore Won’t be having much internet connecting when i am there. So see you all when i am back in KL. Until then ….. Obama rawks ! Hahaha

First i lost a bunch of undies which was conveniently drying out at the drying bay. Then it magically appeared back after 3 days. Since it was old and it roamed to God knows where for 3 days, i decided to discard it.

I was then surviving on limited number of undies so it was critical that it dried in time …

… but the weather was so unpredictable and the remaining ones couldn’t dry in time -_-”

So for the weekend, i resorted in using my speedos.

Sigh, i seriously need to get a box of undies soon
