Meet the Parents: Deepavali Meetup

After my first few nervy encounters with Angeline’s parents, i took the next step which is to invite her parents over to my home. And what other better time than Deepavali to invite them over. I think i had to correct my invitation message a couple of times before actually sending it to her dad. I never got any reply after that and Angeline never said anything if her parents did mention anything regarding my invitation. The next morning, Deepavali day itself, i was too busy running around getting things down before the whole jingbang came to my house. This is in fact the first time i was having an open house. 2 hours before lunch hour, i went over to Angeline’s house to pick her up. That’s when she told me that her family was coming over. I was like O.O! So i messaged my sister telling her to inform my parents. So many things ran through my head like what are my parents going to say to her parents or will i do anything stupid. Last year my sister invited her friends and this year i thought it would be nice to gather a few friends. With a

Published by in personal on October 22nd, 2008

As you would know from my previous entry, my parents are currently in Japan and wouldn’t be back until Deepavali day. So before leaving KLIA, my mum called … Mum: We are about to board the plane already. Don’t forget the list of chores i pasted on the fridge. Me: A list ? @_@ i thought it’s 1 or 2 only ? Mum: Yes it’s a list of 20 chores. Make sure you get it done before we return. Me: Okayyyyy >_<! Mum: Make sure you take care of the house and all ya. Me: Yeaps Mum: Btw, since we might arrive late, i already prepared the ang pows for you and your brothers and sister. Me: Oh really ? *grins* Hehehe where where ? On my study table ? Mum: I didn’t have time to find the ang pow packets so i banked in the angpow to your bank account. OK we have to turn off the phone already. Take care. Me: Ganas, straight away bank in. Hehehe arigato. Bring back something from Japan and i dowan Hard Rock Cafe shirt pleaseeeee -_-”

I ♥ Girls in Cheongsam

Published by in Random on January 24th, 2008

The last few days i haven’t been feeling well, hence the lack of update on my blog. Besides that, i finally managed to window shop in Gurney and Queensbay. I haven’t had much time for myself because i was either working in Queensbay or trying to finish my projects. By the time i have reached home, it would be time to sleep Today was no different but i was half an hour early and no one was around in Queensbay. I headed over to some mamak shop called Queensbay Mamak, i think.    While having my breakfast, i noticed a group of ladies who were all in cheongsam and i have to say, they looked sizzling hawt In fact this whole week i have seen many in cheongsam; regardless whether it was the classic cheongsam suit or with the modern touch where the cheongsam was worn with a tight fitting jeans, they all looked hawt   Obviously with Chinese New Year around the corner, it explains the sudden surge of girls in cheongsam     So ladies, you know what to do

Not the usual Deepavali

Deepavali this year was a bit different. My family decided to come down to KL and spend the weekend with me and my sister instead of us going back. So knowing that both of us won’t be back anytime soon, mum packed tonnes of cookies. Of course i was delighted but then again, this is the only time of the year where my face looks like the moon crater. Chocolate cookies, jam tart, murukku, mixture and many more contributed to the attack of the pimples -_-” I don’t face the same problem during CNY. Maybe because kuih kapit, the turtle cookies, etc can hardly do anything OXY was useless, i even tried Simple and in the end i resorted in this. It stings at the beginning but it definitely got rid of the pimples fast.
