Chronicles of Cambodia 4: Tonle Sap Siem Reap

Ming was eliminated in the final elimination of Malaysian Dream Girl and next friday would be the Finale. I was also at the final photoshoot where the girls finally had what they wanted; a male model named Ricardo. LOL – - – To those who realized i blogged about the first day on Siem Reap, lol you are sharp and that simply shows i am freaking aging -_-! Anyway the next morning was mainly on Tonle Sap. Initially we were suppose to take a ferry from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap via the Tonle Sap lake but after realizing that it would cost a whooping 40USD per person, we scrapped the idea and took bus instead. Jasmine’s Lodge does provide us complimentary breakfast everyday and though it was just a simple one, i really missed eating their bread and egg. And at the same time franctically waiting for a place to sit Hmmm the picture is blur for a reason. Not too sure where did i even focus. Breakfast consist of bread, fruits and egg … and also a cup of tea or coffee. After that Siya our guide who was waiting downstairs greeted us and ferried us in our

The Chronicles of Cambodia 3: Klang Bak Kut Teh

The top 5 girls of MalaysianDreamGirl had their photoshoot at Tunehotel, LCCT. It was a non elimination round before that and everyone was taken by surprise. So who do you reckoned will be cut off this coming Tuesday ? Btw check out the entry i wrote on their Marie France Bodyline Photoshoot. I have also updated the extra photos in my gallery After the Killing Fields, we rushed back to get our things packed and we roamed around in Phnom Penh in search of lunch. Easiest way was to find for their central market and that’s we did exactly. But to our dismay, there’s weren’t stalls nor hawker to be found. Unlike Malaysia where there would be plenty of food found around the market area, Phnom Penh wasn’t like that. Knowing that we have less than an hour to get back to catch our bus out of Phnom Penh, we walked along their main roads. And what did we find ? … – - – Bak Kut Teh >.<!

Your roti canai is ready

Krispy Kreme gave away free doughnuts at Times Square yesterday While having lunch at Old Town Kopitiam, i took Angeline’s ipod and started punching in reminders which would come in play for what i have installed for her while she waits to board her flight. … but to no surprise, the flight got delayed and the reminders popped out ahead of time. Nevertheless, the reminders were sort of vague and Angeline called up and asked what was going on. I told her to ignore it. An hour after the actual boarding time, she calls and says that she is finally boarding and asked if she had to do as i asked in her reminders and i replied yes. “What happens if i don’t want to follow your instructions ?” she asked. I told her to have a safe journey and it’s up to you if you want to follow. Just don’t kill me once you have landed in Penang. So she boarded the plane.. When the plane reached it’s cruising altitude, an announcement was made. Paging for Miss Angeline Tan, paging for Miss Angeline Tan Your roti canai is ready – - HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA She was kind of stunned and decided

Garden Cafe 1 Utama

Published by in food on February 26th, 2009

More than a month back, i was in 1 Utama trying to get myself a pair of Puteri Gunung Ledang tickets when i came across this place. At one glance it reminded me of Full House in Niu Ze Xui. Jess and Steven were with me that time and they told me it’s a new place and it’s handled by the Mei San‘s sister who so happened handles Full House too. That was the first time i have seen Garden Cafe and the second time was when i met up with a few of the Malaysian Dream Girl Contributors. Debra told me that the service was bad when she dropped by not too long back. If my memory serves me well, she said she ordered for lamb and she got something else. They did change to her actual order but of course the mood was already gone by then. Last weekend i had the chance to be in at the Garden Cafe, courtesy of Mei San and her sister. It’s located near Studio R at the new wing. I was there with Jess, Steven and William. The others who came by were Johnathan, William Diong, Denise and Xin Wei.

A Moment with Your Kakiis

Two more days to the dateline and here i am trying out ‘A moment with your Kakiis’. I should have done it quite some time back but because i have been away from my notebook most of the time, i finally have the chance to browse through the pictures that would be suitable for this entry. I definitely had to post this picture up. Full House The expression on Mr Leong’s face is definitely the reason why this picture is on top of the pile This outing with my Kakiis was significant. Why ? Cause we were all out to celebrate Mr Leong’s birthday as well as Miss Tan’s farewell but their food never arrived. In fact Aaron had 2 rounds and yet their food was no where to be seen. It was more than 2 hours until the waiter brought it over. Talk about service -_-! LOL The picture above was taken while waiting. We found these black frame specs for sale and decided to take a couple of photos with it just to buy time I could carry on posting tonnes of pictures but i decided to put a handful so ease my beloved bandwidth, LOL. Now if

Full House NZX Ara Damansara

Published by in food on November 27th, 2008

I was rushing for things to be done when Jess messaged me asking where should we celebrate William‘s bday as well as Angeline‘s farewell. She threw in a couple of ideas before i told her that i saw this entry written by Crystal that caught my attention. I had no idea where was this place and asked Jess if that would be ideal and that’s when i found out that she had being going there so often that it was like her second home. ok i made that up. But anyway, we decided to go there and after searching for directions via google maps, we found out NZX or better known as Niu Ze Xui was somewhere near Angeline’s place. I called up to make a reservation and was greeted with a rather disorientated waiter who sounded like he had no clue on what he had to do and asked me to hang on -_-!

Genting Trailblazer 2008

I am finally back … back in the blogging world, LOL. I have so much to write but so little time to do so. When i eventually have the time, i am either hibernating like a bear or in front of my tv. Can’t wait to get back to track with all my work being piled up every since Deepavali. Speaking of Deepavali, my parents got back from Japan on Deepavali’s day itself and YES they got me another Hard Rock Cafe shirt, hahahaha. In my previous entry i did mention that i was hoping for something else, i mean it’s Japan for heaven’s sake. An Aibo would be good enough or even a PS3 but nooooooo, i got a shirt instead. Not one but 3 shirts, hahahaha. Anyway i am happy with the shirts, i was actually expecting nothing judging from their tight schedule. The second week i had much more time for myself, so much so that i lost track on the dates of the 2 things that i was really looking out during this break. One was my Singapore trip and the other was Genting Trailblazer. Earlier i thought i would be in Singapore first before heading

Murni Reopens

I finally got my hands on my Mamma Mia-the musical ticket. Initially the money saved was to be used to watch Russell Peters in Singapore but since that show is already sold out, i got this ticket without hesitation.

Short Holiday

Published by in rants on October 1st, 2008

Salam Aidil Fitri to whoever is celebrating Time for Open House Everyone is either back at their hometown or off to somewhere for a holiday and here i am, stuck in my room for the whole week. I had the option of returning home and even being tempted a couple of times but with the pile of work i have to do for my lab experiments, i had to forgo the idea of being in Penang.

That chocolate thing

I received a forwarded message stating how dirty one of the restaurants in SS2 is. Then it triggered me to write a few random things on food and also their services. Instead of having a few individual entries, i might as well write all in one to clear the backlog i am having @_@ It has been in a while since i had dim sum and when William asked i was interested in tagging along, i never hesistated a bit. To be frank i am not sure where is it and all i did was drive to God knows where and it wasn’t near as i can remember.
