Bali Day 3: Ben Chong has a different meaning in Bali

We headed back to Sri Ratih Cottage after dinner on the 2nd night. We were all free to do anything for the night and so the guys and got into the pool. The ladies on the other hand decided to stay dry and conquered the lobby area hogging their wifi spot; facebook-ing, tweet-ing. It’s like as though we were the only residents in the whole cottage. We all went back to our rooms after an hour or so for a good night’s sleep. The next morning we had our complimentary breakfast before heading to Kuta Beach for our final night. I realized i left out pictures of the rooms in Sri Ratih Cottage. Here they are The rooms are very spacious, in fact too spacious lol. Good thing if you have big backpacks like us cause you can just lay them anywhere. Same goes with the bathroom. There’s just ample of space in the room. Never bothered checking what channels were available cause i immediately dozed off once i got onto the bed.

Korean Restaurant gets invaded by Thai Villager

Published by in food on March 29th, 2010

It was more than 2 weeks ago that some of us decided to drop Amcorp Mall to pay a visit to Joey’s stall. He was selling some items from his shop which is based in Kelantan. Before we went there, we had lunch at Haeun Khon Restaurant. It was a Korean / Japanese / Chinese restaurant and it seems to be famous for it’s kimchi sets. I wasn’t mentally ready to torture my mouth more over i was dead hungry, especially after queuing up like a cow for close 2 hours to ride a hot air balloon. That i will talk about in my up coming post. This was Angeline’s, which was too vege-ish for my liking. When i am hungry, i definitely need meat and not make myself greener. Nevertheless it tasted quite ok.

Strange but True: Jesus & Lord Shiva & Buddha VS 2012

“Have you guys watched 2012 ?” a guy randomly asks the three of us when he overheard us talking about Avatar. We replied him saying we have already watched it. Immediately he joins us at our table and started off by saying 2012 is for real. Out of curiosity I asked him what makes you say that. He replied, “He told me it’s going to happen and it has already started to take its toll”. “Who is he ?” i asked. “He is the one above” “ Who is ….?” “God” “Okayyyy” Have you realized the amount of disasters that has been happening around the world ? Plagues, Earthquakes, Volcanoes erupting. The Tsunami in 2004 is only a small preview of what is to come *shows me his little finger with the tip of his thumb pressing on it to display the meaning of little* So what do you plan to do now that I have given you this information. *coughs* start saving for a billion euros *continues eating* Noooo sure cannot. You won’t have the time to save. What you should do is release yourself. Define the word release cause it could mean a lot of things, if you

Coconut Jelly and Prawns

Published by in food on July 13th, 2009

Initially i was suppose to take a photo of mine but due to unforseen circumstances, i only realized i forgot to photograph it right after i was done eating. Too bad i don’t have a clear shot of the jelly and this is the only picture i have before my sister asked me to buzz off. The jelly of the coconut is actually the coconut water itself and this is done by removing the outer husk and left in the oven to roast. During the cooling period, the coconuts are placed in a cooling room and this is when the jelly is formed. It’s best to be eaten there and then cause if you were to leave it in the car and finally return home after a few hours, it would turn sour. There’s no preservatives, all natural. Angeline brought it home and some of it did turn sour when she and her family ate it the next day. Mine on the other hand was perfect as i ate it on the same day. It’s RM 3.70 per coconut and it’s pandan coconut, just like the one at Abu Siti Lane but this is along Dato Keramat. Earlier that day,

Not too long back i tried playing this fishing game by Hong Leong which was promoted by Nuffnang and here is my first attempt -_-” As pathetic as it looks, my score kept howering around there and God Fish knows how in the fishing world did some even touched 30k plus. Anyway i will update my score if i do break the 10k duck -_-” The only good thing about this kinda score is no one would copy the picture.
