The World Premier Screening of Enthiran by TGV Cinemas

This is the first time i am attending for a premier of a Tamil movie, in fact i think it’s a world premier since the chosen ones are watching it a day earlier than the rest of the world. This was made possible by TGV Cinemas. I have heard a lot about this movie ever since the songs were released (composed by A.R. Rahman) and it’s leading actor and actress were Super Star Rajnikanth and former Miss World Aishwarya Rai! We all met up at Starbucks for a meet and greet session. Here’s where i met up with Saravanan, Rames, Puva, Selian, Harinder and also some of the TGV’s representatives. Coffee and pastry were on the house and it was nice to see how everyone has been anticipating for this movie. Realizing that, i thought why don’t i just post up a photo of the ticket i got. I am with no fashion sense

Last week i made a surprised trip back to Penang for Angeline’s birthday. She didn’t even believe i was back in Penang until i checked into the airport via foursquare. She was already on her way back when i arrived. I met up with her on Saturday and as usual i picked up whatever shirt i had on top of the pile to be worn. Bad mistake. When i was in her home waiting for her to get her things ready, she was all dressed up. I mean really really dressed up. What i had on? A pair of jeans and a black shirt that says, Hard Rock Casino London. “You are not walking with me in that hideous shirt!” she said. She didn’t really say that actually lol. What she did say was, “Why are you wearing that cacat shirt? We are going out for my birthday right?”. I felt bad. “What if i drive back home and change into another shirt,” well that’s what i thought i should have said. But instead … “This shirt not nice? Ok we go to Gurney Plaza and i will buy a shirt on the spot” i said, thinking she would mellow

Strange but True: Jesus & Lord Shiva & Buddha VS 2012

Phailed

A few days a go i joined my fellow comrades in the ‘PHAILED’ regime, simply because my site was down. William was the first to say, “Satkuru, you iz phailed” -_-” In fact i have renewed it more than a week before the expiring date but a miscommuncation with the webhosting company cause it to be down for 96 hours in some places. So to those you were so nice to actually drop me messages asking where in the world is my blog when you only see a weird looking page, i thank you for your concern I have so much to blog about but everything seems to be backlogged because i don’t have enough time to write >_<” For the time being, let me share with you a few of the ‘phailed’ moments that were captured in the past few months Hung Wei failed in focusing I failed in setting my camera in the right settings that it made this picture look like there was an enormous explosion -_-” LOL i wonder if you all noticed what’s wrong with this picture P/S: Go watch WALL-E ! Fashion Weekends

When my mum calls it’s either to inform me what one of my siblings have achieved or to ask when i am coming home @_@ And this time it was about my youngest brother … MUM: You brother appeared in the papers again … (local papers at the current country he is in) ME: Ooo what did it say ? MUM: The headline was Malaysia dominates Holland and it said that he had earlier rocked the Dutch-speaking nation’s batting with 4-23. ME: … rocked ??? MUM: And they also said that Holland’s batting fell away as they crumbled against his spins to be bowled out for 133 from 40.4 overs. ME: Ma i dunno what those numbers mean but i am happy he won, hehehe. MUM: Yeah of course you must be happy, so what you did for today ? Aji Noren – Unagi Fetish

I was told the transfer to the local server is complete and here’s my first entry April is gonna be one busy, i mean really BUSY month ! Miss ChunHuey, thanks for being part of my April Fool prank, lol. Please don’t ask Wah to kill me ya Unfortunately i never got to prank others @_@ No one believed what i said even when i was telling the truth. 24 hours of poor frustration When she found out that HH actually did treat us Chillis, she decided to do the same and she took it a step further. I was the only one there and i was brought to Aji Noren. I had no idea that this place existed and it’s behind Prima Tanjung which is opposite Island Plaza. Upon arriving there you’ll see stacks and stacks of comic books just in front of the counter. I am not sure if that’s suppose to be a deco or it’s really meant to be read by the customers. How often do you find the right person? ONCE

This is probably the most naturalistic and believable romantic musical you may ever see and hear. Even though the whole movie was shot using camcorder ala Cloverfield but it suited well with the storyline. Initially i was hooked to one of their songs from their OST and after searching high and low for the movie, i finally watched it today. The expectation i had initially was pretty low knowing that this is a low budget movie which cost them $160,000 but managed to rake in $14 mil. The Irish romance ONCE may be a musical, but it is miles away from the traditional Hollywood idea of people bursting into song. Glen Hansard (frontman for indie rock band The Frames) plays the guy, a street musician who is playing for change when he meets the girl (Marketa Irglova), an immigrant from the Czech Republic. The pair immediately bond over their shared love of music (he is a guitarist, and she plays the piano), and the film chronicles their tentative relationship. Both are weighed down by plenty of baggage: his songs are fueled by a painful breakup, and she is a young mother who left her husband behind in her native country.
