Sister: Yes Police: OK, next time don’t speed Sister: Then it was my turn Police: You realized you were driving at 120kph ? ME: I only did that while over taking. Police: Identification please. Police: Next time don’t turn on your radio and sing. ME: Huh ? Police: It will distract you while driving. And here’s your summon. ME: … Police: Remember, singing distracts you. Btw, you can appeal to lower your summon. ME: … Police: Have a nice day. ME: … ok -__-”

Girls Like Guys With Facial Hair ?
These past few days i have been lazy, so lazy that i decided no to shave. So that’s like a week of facial hair on my face. I thought how bad could it be. Further more, after reading Charng’s entry on Patrick Dempsey who ‘coincidently’ has face fungus too, gave me the needed encouragement to try this stupid experiment. I do know girls drool over McDreamy but in real life do they actually like guys with facial hair ? Of course it depends on the person itself, whether it suits him in the first place. So since i was lazy and had nothing to loose, i braved myself to the public. First reaction: A: Wow ! Suddenly got facial hair …. That’s sexy S: That was what i expected to hear and that’s what i got but not from the right gender -_-” Disappointed … Second reaction: A: Hey Satkuru ! First time seeing you like that … but you are missing something. S: Ooo what is it ? A: A guitar and a paper cup >:) S: ……… I went back and shaved after that. Keeping facial hair, just isn’t my cup of tea. Patrick Dempsey sucks ! Hahaha
Steamboat @ Lao Ma Zi
Initially i was suppose to have steamboat with Bernard, Weng Chong and gang at the ever so famous Steamboat restaurant at Sunway but since we left late and didn’t want to be queuing up, we changed venue to Lao Ma Zi which is on the Puchong Perdana side of the LDP. I was told that Lao Ma Zi means Mother The place definitely looked more class compared to the previous planned venue. I like the way the pot is divided as such rather than the common method of having two pots. The choices were quite limited in my opinion but it was enough to make me full. I took more of laap cheong and mushrooms … and of course ice cream. One thing i noticed about this place was one particular waitress. She was the only one without a cap and did have make up on. She definitely can make heads turn and she definitely did it with our table too -_-” We tried so many times to get a photo of her but she was just walking too fast. Weng Chong said based on her slang, she’s definitely from China. The girls saw how pathetic we were trying to

Celebration for England and Khek
England is OUT ! Probably one of the most overrated team has finally come to terms that they still need some tweaking to click into a unit. Individually i know the players are doing pretty well in their respective clubs but some how or rather only a handful maintains that rich form for their country. I have nothing against the England team as i am an avid fan of EPL but they just don’t have that flair compared to their counterparts. So anyway, to come in terms with their exclusion from EURO 2008, we celebrated at TGIF Subang No we didn’t do that but we did go to TGIF to celebrate Khek Yang’s birthday. It would be sick if we did such a thing -_-” Before i carry on, i would like to wish Khek a happy happy birthday! Everyone knows Khek is a loyal Newcastle fan, so we decided to get him a Manchester United shirt, hahaha. If that would only happen. The Reason Why I Blog
Initially my ex-room mate, dranreb told me he purchased a lump of space from a server over in the US and asked if i would like some of it. I always wanted to run my own domain name, so satkuru.info was created. I never liked writing and i did the next best thing which was posting up pictures. This is where my trusty z800i came in and i took a whole load of pictures where ever i go. I do post up quite often and that’s how i started off my photoblog. The photoblog ran on an open source script which was easy to modify. After more than a year, i finally ended satkuru.info and shifted over to satkuru.com and that’s where i started typing, i mean really typing in entries -_-” I relied a lot on blogspot and that carried on for another year before finally settling for wordpress.I know i have been beating round the bush and haven’t given a real answer to the title. So the reasons I blog are for me to kill time and at the same time make new friends (tagged by jjzai)

Photo Hunters – Dirty
I really had a hard time looking for a picture that resembles anything close to dirty. The awful state of my old digital camera was perfect but then i have already written about it in the beginning of the week. Then just a few days back, right after my class, i realized how awful the white board looked after my lecturer derived a formula. The picture taken wasn’t that clear cause i had trouble focusing -_-” If i had only brought my Lumix along, i would have taken a snap shot of the whole board. So here’s my take on the theme ‘dirty‘. When you don’t use protection
This what happens when you are too ignorant not to use protection. Turned out pretty nasty My beloved iXus turned 6 this year and it looks like it has a bad … a very bad skin disease. I remembered how ViVien and ChiawYin reacted when they saw my camera a few months back. Hahaha. Then i realized it was time to get a brand new camera. Even with a bad-ass looking body, the camera still functions flawlessly. Of course, i do get the occasional “Eeeeee” expression from people but it doesn’t matter to me Tomorrow, this lucky camera will be following Lingster to Europe -_-” Her reason for bringing my camera was, no one would bother to steal it once they have seen it —___—” I will take that as a compliment
A French weekend at the Curve
Disappointed. That’s what i can say about Marche. I have heard many of my friends having lunch and dinner in Marche and i thought this place has to be good. Other wise, they wouldn’t have returned for a second time. As for me. it’s definitely my first and last visit to Marche. Lingster and i were at the Curve last weekend and we decided to drop by at Marche for a late lunch. As we were waiting in line, we were showed how their card system worked whereby each patron will be given a card and as we order, the card will be stamped. More or less the same as Food Loft in Gurney Plaza Penang but here they use rubber stamps to mark the card. After getting our table, we walked around to see what we could order. Marche has a very nice setting. It’s more like a Sunday market where you could see fresh vegetables, fruits, meat and poultry but with a European touch. That’s how i knew the meaning of Marche (Marche =Market, in French). To be honest, the choices were quite limited and more over the section for meat and poultry had a rather rude cook.

boynet8 is leaving for South Korea
I was told that boynet8 aka Chee Min will be leaving for South Korea at the end of the month for his Masters in Dongseo Univeristy, Busan, South Korea. I know Hoo Mun is there but is in a different course from what boynet8 will be pursuing. A short history on boynet8: I have known him since 2002 when we met in the Early Entrance Program and he was one of the Penangites i knew besides Espirit, Timun-timun, Mike, mmudevils and soonjin. We were all then housemates in our foundation year of our degrees. He came down to KL yesterday and we all gathered at a steamboat restaurant in Sunway. Chee Kit and Chee Min Wei Chung promoting his name with the letter ‘W’ -_-”
