HH and i reached Chillis first before Jun, Leon, Wendy and Kxin joined in I sat there and ate Chips and drank 5 glasses of Iced Lemon Tea @_@ Maximizing the drink since it was bottomless

Flashing at Murni SS2

Published by in camera, food on February 28th, 2008

Side Note: I was watching the Oscars last night and found out that the Best Music (Song) went to Falling Slowly I wrote an entry about this song and the movie not too long back but i was expecting one of the songs from Enchanted to win since that movie had 3 songs nominated. Out of those 3 songs from Enchanted, i liked So Close by Jon McLaughlin It has been many moons since i have sat at Murni of SS2. So when i heard there’s a meet up, i just couldn’t ignore it Thanks to Crapster and Marcus for giving a lift, hehehe. If you have no idea about Murni, it’s sort of a mamak place where you can get good food with unique combinations. Though the price is face-scratchingly expensive but it’s totally worth it, especially if you are there on an empty stomach as the portions are big. That night i ordered Nasi Goreng Special which has fried rice, keropok, wedges, egg and maryland chicken. Mmmmmm i already hungry just by describing it. Usually i will go for Loh Shi Fun but i really needed something heavy that night David of tomagogame.com ordered Mee Raja, Aaron ordered

Shell Laksa @ Farlim Penang

A few years back, i remembered Sim bringing me to this place in front of one of the Shell stations over in Farlim, Penang for laksa and i was told it was probably one of the best in Penang. But lately the stall disappeared and i never heard of it’s whereabout till last week

BBQ in the Rain

I wonder if anyone has tried barbequing in the rain ? We tried …. and it didn’t work But that’s not the point of this entry. After planning and getting accommodation for the KL people, everything was in order for the End Year BBQ Party at Golden Sands Beach Penang. Some of us parked far away and had to walk for a good 5 minutes with things to carry, from chicken to tables, from charcoal to umbrellas (which came in quite handy later on). Some of us did notice that it was already raining further down but to instill the spirit of optimism, we carried on unloading all the equipment to start the fire. Some went further by camwhoring on the beach

Decapitated Panda

Published by in fun on November 29th, 2007

That’s right people, last night a panda was sacrificed for my own personal gain. I know this sounds rather stupid but if you are lost and have no idea what i am talking about, let me brief you on what’s what. Exactly a year ago, i joined a community of shouters whereby they convey their messages shouts thru an app which was developed by Lasker and Elise of PenangPenang.com. What this app does is, it displays live messages which are typed from any blog that has it. By doing so, one would have a so called instant chat messenger ala mIRC style in their blog. I was introduced to ShoutOut by Ai Ling and to be frank i had no idea what was it all about at first. All i could remember was she saying, just put that in your blog and see what happens Back then the community was barely a fraction of the people who participate nowadays. Of course nothing starts off with instantaneous hit, everything has to be taken in small steps ( ban ban lai ). So as the community grew, more features were added and one main feature was the shout count. Here in shoutout,

Paintball in PISA

Published by in personal on October 20th, 2007

Last weekend, i had the oppurtunity to paintball with the rest of the shouters in PISA (Penang International Sports Arena). We were suppose to reach there at nine sharp but as usual, everyone was late -_-” This event was planned a few weeks ahead and it fitted my schedule perfectly, just a day before i started my part time job Besides having fun, i also had to make sure i had no visible marks Before suiting up, the person in charge gave us a briefing on what we can and can’t do. He emphasized a lot on safety especially keeping our mask on at all times while in the arena. The paintball will replace your eye if you don’t wear your mask. That’s how he put it in context and i was pretty sure everyone wore their mask even tighter after hearing that statement

KL Shouters Meet

Published by in fun on August 26th, 2007

Initially i didn’t have the heart to attend the meet, simply because i was too tired staying up the night before after sending off Lingster to Denmark. Besides that, my work pile just tripled a couple of days ago. In the end, after waking up late in the morning, i decided to go – after all some of the Penang Shouters did come all the way down I arrived at Piramid one hour late, no thanks to the bus *but Willaz told me it was a good thing and he did have a point, tsk tsk*. So i arrived in Red Box and Alvin was there to bring me in.
